Pupils will match a picture with a word in the word box and teacher gives them ‘Funny smile’ for correct answer.



New words: building, tower, huge, gift shop, royal, hunting forest, museum, natural museum.


The teacher drills pronunciation of the words correctly. Once they repeat after the recording, then they repeat individually. Different sounds like whispering or shouting can be used.

Read the text and find the new words.

  • Hyde Park is a large park. It was once a royal hunting forest.

  • The Houses of Parliament is a beautiful building. There is the famous clock Tower, Big Ben.

  • The Tower of London is an old building in London. It’s a museum today. There is a gift shop.

  • The Natural Museums is a large museum. There is a huge collection of animals. There is a gift shop and a book shop.


SPEAKING

Method ‘I’m to you, you to me’

The teacher asks questions which are in the box. Pupils will answer the questions.

  1. Where is the Natural Museum?

  2. What is there in the Natural Museums?

  3. What is the tower of London?

  4. Where is Big Ben?

  5. Where is a huge collection of animals and plants?

Let’s dance: Listen to music, sing a song and dance all together.

Pupils must write 3 questions and interview partners. Then the teacher checks them.
