"Do we have the same hobbies?"

  1. Воспитание уважительного отношения к хобби своих одноклассников.

  1. Практиковать в монологическом высказывании; Развивать умение высказываться целостно;

  2. Активизировать лексические навыки говорения, сформированные на предыдущих уроках на базе материала о любимых занятиях.

  3. Контроль уровня сформированности знаний и речевых умений.

Оборудование: Урок с применением мультимедиа

Ход урока

I. Начало урока.

  1. Good morning, children! I am very glad to see you!
    Kids, we have a lot of guests today. Please, greet them. (говорят хором “Good morning, dear guests!”) Sit down, please.

  2. Who is on duty today? Who is absent today? What date is today? What date of the week is today? What is the weather like today? Is the sky blue or grey? Does the sun shine?

The theme of our lesson is “Do we have the same hobbies?” Today we are going to have an interesting lesson about different hobbies of our classmates. They are ready to tell us about their favourite occupations and our task is to listen to them attentively and may be ask a few questions.

At the lesson:

  1. Our classmates will tell us about their hobbies.

  2. Let’s listen to them attentively.

I would like to begin our lesson with the question:

What is a hobby? ( Ученик отвечает) Do you agree with Zhenya, Nadya?( Nadya answers. ) What hobbies do you know? (спросить 2-3 ученика) What hobbies are popular in your family? (спросить 2 ученика) I like reading in my free time. And what do you like doing in your free time? ( Спросить 2 человека) Children, Is a hobby important for you? Why is a hobby important in people’s life? ( cпросить 2-3 человека)

III. Контроль уровня сформированности речевых умений.

Last lesson we worked in pairs. We tried to make dialogues. Can we act out our dialogues? Who starts? ( на экране)Слайд4(презентация)

Our dialogues:

What hobbies do we have?

1. -Do you have a hobby, Sveta?

- Yes, I do. And what about you?

- I have a hobby too.

-And what is your hobby?

- My hobby is watching cartoons. And what is your favourite occupation?

-Oh, I like dancing.

- That’s great.

2. -Alyosha, have you got a hobby?

-Yes, I have. My hobby is playing computer games. And you? I hope, you have a hobby too. What is your hobby?

-Oh, my hobby is fishing. I like fishing in my free time very much.

3.- What is your favourite occupation, Nadya?

- Favourite occupations? They are embroidering, dancing and painting. But painting I prefer best of all. And what about you?

-As for me I am fond of music. I like playing the guitar very much.

4. –Have you got a hobby, Zhenya?

- Yes, I have. And you? Have you got a hobby?

- Yes, of course. And what is your hobby?

- I enjoy collecting stamps. I have about 100 stamps. What do you like to do in your free time?

- I like swimming, fishing, collecting coins.

5. -What do you prefer doing in your free time, Masha?

- Oh, I like reading. My favourite books are detective stories.And you? Do you have a hobby?

- Yes, I do. My hobby is music. I like rock very much.

6. -Lyuba, What are you fond of doing in your free time?

- Oh, let’s me think. I have many hobbies. They are riding a bike, plaing computer games and playing football.

- Great. And as for me I like making models of ships in my free time.

- It is wonderful.

7.- Have you got a hobby?

- Yes, of course. And you? Have you got a hobby too?

- Well, I have some hobbies. They are reading comics, playing table tennis,

arranging picnics and listening to music.

- And my hobby is watching TV.

IV. Монологическая речь.( на экране:) Слайд 5(презентация)

Our classmates are telling…

A) Let's listen to Anya . She is telling us about her hobby.

Knitting and painting.

Аня рассказывает, затем я задаю вопросы классу:

Анин рассказ:

I want to tell you about my hobbies. My favourite occupation is knitting. I like knitting very much. My teacher at primary school taught me to knit three years ago. And I have been knitting since those times. I have knitted many things for me. Look, here is a bag for me and this jacket I have knitted for me too. These things I have knitted for my brother. I have knitted many things for my doll. Look, here they are. My second hobby is painting. My mum paints very much. Look, here is her picture. She taught me to paint. I paint with pleasure. Here is a cow. I painted it to New Year. And it is a mouse. I painted it last year. My hobbies help me to spend my free time properly.

Do you like Anya's hobbies? What is more interesting: knitting or painting? Who else can knit?( Sit down, Anya)

Making different models out of plasticine.

Булат рассказывает: Let me introduce myself. My name is Bulat. I must say my favourite occupation is unusual. I like making different models out of plasticine. I have been making them for a long time. I would like to show you some of my models. It is a tiger. It is a solder. It is an eagle. The first thing which I made was this cock. …I know it is not easy to make such models, but I like. I can sit for hours making these wonderful things, for examples, birds, animals, solders…I made this model of a bear for an hour. My hobby is very important to me.

Учитель: I admire Bulat’s works very much. They are very excellent.

Have you any questions? Zhenya, please.

C) The next reporter is Nastya.Слайд8.

Music. Playing the piano.

Настя рассказывает: Hi! I am Nastya. I want to tell you about my hobby. My hobby is music. I like classical music. I take music lessons twice a week. I have been taking them since the 2nd form. There are different musical instruments. Some people play the guitar. Others play the violin. As for me I am fond of the piano. I want to play the synthesizer for you.( Играет джаз)

Учитель: Do you like Nastya's playing? Would you like to play any musical instrument? What musical instrument would you like to play? What music do you prefer?

D) And it’s your turn, Lyuba.Слайд9.

Learning foreign languages.

Люба рассказывает о своем хобби. My name is Lyuba. Learning languages is a very important occupation. This occupation is for intelligent people. I enjoy learning English. I learn new words, new poems and songs with great pleasure. I know it is important for my future profession. But I learn the Buryat language too. It is interesting to know the language of our native people- Buryats. I like learning the Buryat language. I played the part of Dongina during our school holiday “Sagaalgan”. I would like to tell you a little poem in the Buryat language.

(Рассказывает стихотворение на бурятском языке)

Учитель: Lyuba is a gifted girl. I hope she will know many languages. Children, There are people who know more than 20 languages. Have you ever heard about them?

E) Skiing is one of the most popular hobbies in our school. Many children go in for skiing. Слайд10.


Выходят Маша, Даша и Эрдэм. Эрдэм рассказывает: Hello! I am Erdem. Skiing is our hobby. It is my hobby. It is Masha’s hobby. It is Dasha’s hobby too. Skiing is winter sports. It is the occupation for strong people. We have trainings 5 times a week. We train a lot. We run big distances. We often go in other districts of our republic to take part in competitions. Masha and Dasha have been skiing since the 2nd form. They are good skiers. They have won a lot of prizes and diplomas. I am proud of my classmates.

Маша и Даша проводят физкультминутку.

Учитель: We are tired. Let’s do our exercises.

Физкультминутка: (проводят девочки-спортсменки)

I like embroidering very much. Look at this work. It’s my grandmother’s. She embroidered it many years ago when she was young. She taught me to embroider. It is very exciting! I have learned. Look here : it is my first work.

After Nadya’s report: (мой вопрос) What threads do you use ?

I wouldn’t mind having such a work on my wall at home. Well done, Nadya.

G) Sveta is a member of our school quire. Please , let’s listen to you, Sveta.


Singing songs. Making things out of cloth and ribbons.

Sveta: My name is Sveta. I would like to tell you about my hobby.My hobby is singing songs. I like singing children and popular songs. I often sing. I sing at home, at school and during the breaks. Music is my favourite subject at school. I take part at different school concerts. I like to sing on the stage. My favourite song is “Разноцветная игра». I would like to sing a song for you. ( поет песню, девочки подтанцовывают)

Далее Надя рассказывает про танцы: There are different hobbies in people's lives. Dancing is one of them. Dancing is my girl-friends’ hobby. We dance together. We dance on the school stage. We dance to music at the school party. I think, dancing is great. It makes our life happier and more interesting. We can spend our free time dancing and singing.( девочки садятся)

Света продолжает: My second hobby is making things out of cloth and ribbons.

Look here are my things. It is my heart. It is my Picture.

Учитель: Sveta is a very talented girl. Iam proud of her.

H) And now is Zhenya’s report.Слайд13.


Zhenya: My hobby is sewing. I like sewing very much. I can sew different things for me. Look: here they are. This skirt I sewed for me. And this apron I have made. These mittens for cooking are very good, aren’t they?

Учитель: I am sure, Zhenya's hobby is very useful, is not it? Yes, it is. Can boys sew? Yes/ they can. We know a lot of famous clothes designers among the men.

V. We have learned a lot of wonderful things about our classmates. Let’s return to the title of our lesson: “Do we have the same hobbies?” A week ago we answered this question “NO, we do not” and we have convinced in it today.

There are many proverbs about people’s favourite occupations. Two of them are on the blackboard. Look, listen and remember. Repeat after me:

  2. Tastes differ. – О вкусах не спорят.

Write down:

  1. Всякое умение трудом дается.

  2. Мало хотеть, надо уметь.

  4. Кто, что умеет, тот то и делает.

VI. Homework:

Which hobby did you like best of all? Would you like to do it?

(Write an essay. 9-10 sentences)

You must at home to write an essay about hobbies which you are enjoying during today’s lesson. I am interested in your opinions and your impressions about this lesson.

VI. The end of the lesson.

As for me I am glad to see that you have done a good job. You have prepared good reports and good dialogues. You were active at the lesson. I am going to give you 5marks.
