Тема урока: №1. «Hobbies and Health».              

Цели урока:

·        Образовательная цель– формирование умений диалогической речи по теме: «Hobbies and Health». Cовершенствование навыков говорения, аудирования и письма.

·        Развивающая цель– развивать языковую догадку, память, речь и внимание. 

·        Воспитательная цель – учить слушать друг друга; воспитать интерес к предмету.

Оборудование: картинки, подборки, плакат, карточки.

1.     Организационный момент:

Цель: снять напряжение: настроить детей на работу; вести в атмосферу иноязычной речи, погрузить в языковую среду.

-         Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning!)

-         I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you, too)

-         Sit down, please. Get ready for the lesson. I am waiting for you to be quiet. Let’s start our lesson.

2.     Фонетическая зарядка:

Цель: подготовить учеников к повторению .

First le’s practice the English sounds. Open your textbooks. Listen to the speaker and then repeat  words after ме.

         3. Grammar task. 

1) The new words:

II. Read the sentences to know how to understand and use the words below

advantage  — of, over;

a)  the advantages of a person, place, method, etc. are the good thing about it, which make it better than others of the same type: What are the advantages of living in central London? What are the advantages of going b plane? Is there any advantage of learning Latin nowadays? His poor know edge of French was a great disadvantage. They discussed all advantages and disadvantages of all the people who applied for the job;

b)  take advantage of someone (something): They took advantage of m illness and took my money;

to sit up late — not to go to bed until later than usual time: The nurse sat up with the patient all night. We sat up late watching a show on TV;

to boss somebody around/about — to give orders to somebody in a unpleasant way: When we were preparing for the party my brother boss» me around and it took all the fun out of the occasion;

to share  to have or use something with others; to have something i common with others. He doesn't share my views on life. Whose opinion d you share? They shared a room. I want to share my news (secret) with you .He shared his last penny with me;

sense of humour — understanding of the value of something: He did n have much sense of humour: he didn't recognize or enjoy jokes, funny situations. 1 feel sorry for people who have no sense of humour;

to confide  to confide in somebody or confide something i somebody — to tell a secret to somebody trusting them not to tell others: St confided her troubles to a friend. My brother confided (to me) that he ha found another job;

to go mountain climbing  likes to go mountain as a sport.

to be through with something of work or a test:

it is common (with somebody)

4.Развитие навыка диалогической речи.

3. Listen to the poem "Rain" written by the English writer Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894), then read it. Say what season you think it is. What did the poet feel when he wrote about the rain?    .

                                                                        Rain

The rain is raining all around,

It falls on field and tree,

 It rains on the umbrellas here,

And on the ships at sea.

7. look at the dialogues, put the sentences in the correct order in .each of them and then role play the dialogues.

Dialogue 1.

a)   Did you enjoy it?

b)   Oh yes! Lots of times.

c)   Yes, it's really good. Have you ever tried riding ;t horse7

d)   Have you ever ridden a horse?

e)   No, not really. I'm afraid of horses.

 

        5. Pronunciation.

 

1. Practise reading and saying the words.

2. Match the words that rhyme.

4.  Have you ever been at a disadvantage? What did you feel?

5.  Do you often sit up late. Whv?

6. They say it is pretty dire when somebody bosses you around. What do you think about it?

7.  Did you have much fun in summer? .What did you do?

8.  Do you appreciate people with a sense of humour?

9.  Whom do you confide your secrets?

10. Would you like to go mountain climbing? Why?

11.  What are you going to do when you are through with your exams?

12.  Would you like to share your books with a friend of yours?

 

3.  Now tell the class about your interview.

Example: I interviewed Marat. He often  sits up late because ...

4. Advantage or disadvantage?

Express your opinion and find the reasons to prove it.

Example: It's nice to be the youngest in the family.

— I agree. There are some advantages of being the youngest in the fami­ly. Everybody takes care of you and helps a lot.

—  It' s fun to learn things by working with computer .

— It's great to go mountain climbing.........

— It's fun to have a walkman.

— It's great to learn by visiting museums.

-It's enjoyable to travel by train

        8. Подведение итогов: 

  • выставление оценок;
  • анализ типичных ошибок учащихся;
  • выводы и заключение по уроку.

9.     Write down your home task. Ex. 3. page 3. I gave you merry and sad smiles. Tell me, please, what is your mood now? Show me the sad or the merry smile.

10. Our lesson is over. Thank you for the work. Good bye, boys! Good bye, girls!
