Past Indefinite Tense
Обозначает действие, которое произошло в прошлом.
К правильным глаголам добавляется окончание –ed.
to answer – answered
to help – helped
to translate – translated
to study – studied
toplay – played
to travel – travelled
to stop – stopped
В отрицательном предложении not употребляется после вспомогательного глаголаdid.
Например: I did not work yesterday
He did not speak to the president two days ago
В вопросительном предложении вспомогательный глагол did употребляется в начале предложении.
Напрмер: Did he work yesterday? Did they speak to the President two days ago.
Наречие, которое употребляется в прошедшем времени:

Control of power systems.
