Практические:
организовать употребление лексических единиц в речи учащихся на уровне слова, словосочетания, предложения, сверхфразового единства;
ознакомить учащихся со структурой «to be going to…» и научить оперированию данной структурой в собственной речи учащихся на уровне предложения;
научить аудировать текст «At the travel agency» в звукозаписи;
научить учащихся читать текст вслух с общим охватом его содержания;
научить учащихся вести диалог-расспрос в связи с изобразительной ситуацией по теме «Объяснение маршрута»;
организовать монологическое высказывание учащихся по теме урока;
организовать повторение грамматических структур Present Simple, Present Continuous; организовать тренировку по оперированию данными структурами.
Воспитательные:
воспитывать у учащихся чувство дружбы и уважения к народам англоязычных стран;
воспитывать волю, настойчивость в преодолении трудностей;
воспитывать культуру общения;
формировать эстетические вкусы учащихся;

IN LONDON’S FAIR CITY
Good morning, boys and girls!
T. Today we have got an unusual lesson. The topic of our lesson is “In London’s fair city”. It will be the lesson of general conclusion of knowledge habits and skills.
I’m sure you’ve got much information about this wonderful city at your English lessons. And now you will have a good opportunity to show your knowledge in our imaginary trip around the city. During the trip you’ll solve some problems and take part in some projects.
I wish you success. Well, it’s time to begin.
1. SPEECH EXERCISE.
T. Well done. Look at the map of London, the photos of the city. Do you recognize the city in the photos? What city is it?

How are you? I’m fine. I’m in London, at the International School of English. I’m in class 3 with eight other students. They’re all from different countries- Spain, France, Japan, Argentina, Switzerland, and Thailand. Our teacher’s name is Peter Briscall. He’s very nice. He’s very nice. He’s funny and he’s a very good teacher.
My new addressis at the top of the letter. I’m with an English family, the Browns. Mr. and Mrs. Brown have three children. Thomas is fourteen, Catherine is twelve, and Andrew is seven. They are all very friendly, but it isn’t easy to understand them!
