План урока:
I. Приветствие и организационный момент (2-3 минуты)
Teacher greets the class and checks attendance.
Teacher asks how the students are feeling today.
Teacher announces the topic of the lesson: "Today we are going to talk about cities and towns."
II. Фонетическая разминка (3-5 минут)
Teacher pronounces a few words related to the topic (e.g., "city," "town," "building," "street," "park") and asks students to repeat after him/her.
Teacher can use tongue twisters related to the topic. For example: "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers in a pretty city park."

III. Актуализация знаний (5-7 минут)
Brainstorming: Teacher asks students what words come to mind when they hear the words "city" and "town." Teacher writes the words on the board.
Review: Teacher asks students to name some famous cities and towns in their country and in other countries.

IV. Введение нового материала (10-15 минут)
Presentation of new vocabulary:
Teacher introduces new vocabulary words (e.g., square, bridge, cathedral, fountain, market, castle, harbor, residential area, industrial area, suburb, etc.) using pictures, realia, or gestures.
Teacher pronounces each word clearly and asks students to repeat.
Teacher writes the words on the board.

Teacher asks students to repeat the words after him/her several times.

Teacher explains the use of "There is/are" to describe the existence of something in a place.
