Starting the lesson

T: Good day, dear pupils and guests!

Today we are going to travel to the English week.

Ok, we are coming in the “Riddles” station. let’s survey this station.

• Riddles about the jobs.

She works at school. She likes children very much.

What is she?

P1: She is a teacher.

He works at the airport.

He likes planes.

P2: He is a pilot.

She is very kind. She works in the hospital.

P3: she is a doctor.

He is strong and brave. He works in the police station.

P4: He is a police officer

He is ten. He studies at school. He likes English.

P5: He is a pupil

She is my mother. She works at home.

P6: She is a housewife

T:Very good! Do you know what this station has got grammar? If you right complete all sentence we are continuing our travel.

Then pupils answer the question “What do you want to be”. Listen to individual pupils' answers.

Now, we are coming in the next station. Next is ... oh, no this station hasn’t got name. Let’s find its name. What can you see there?

T: what common mean have got these words?

Where are we standing?

P:We are standing in the station “Rainforest”

What is the rainforest?

Pupils read the text. Answer the following questions.

T: Very good, pupils let’s watch a video about the rainforests.

Group work.

I’ll give for you cards with question. You should answer these questions and draw you answer.

I group:

Are you swimming in the river?

Are you walking on the bridge?

II group:

Are you climbing a mountain?

Are you walking in the valley?


T:We are coming the Grammar station.

Practice

• Play CD2:38 pupils listen and point at the animals in the main illustration as they are mentioned. Pupils say the missing words

  1. There is a crocodile in the river.

  2. It’s under the bridge.

  3. It’s next to you

  4. There is a snake behind you.

  5. There is a bird in front of me.

Complete the words.

• Focus on the pictures and the incomplete words.

Pupils look at the example and complete the other

words with the missing letters in the same way.

• Check as a class. Ask pairs of pupils to come to the board. Pupil A spells the word and Pupil B writes it.
