Please all of you stand up and stand in a circle then you must tell the names and say characteristics beginning at first letter in your names. For example: My name is Marzhan, I am an amusing teacher. Ok thank you for everybody.

Thank you! Let’s continue.

Our lesson today is unusual – we are going to talk about your professions. It’s time for you to travel in the world of different jobs and to find out which of them will be on top in the nearest future, if the knowledge of English helps you to succeed.


For this we should know the differences of these words

Profession – a job that needs a special education and training.

Job – the regular paid work that you do for an employer.

Occupation – a job or profession.

Work – to do the job that you are paid for.

I want to start our lesson with the words of our president.


In his message “Strategy Kazakhstan 2050” he said: “You are the embodiment of all our hopes for future. What is being done today is for you. The future of the country is in your hands. Your new way of thinking is an important factor for achieving the aims which nowadays seem to be far and unattainable”.

Ok what do you understand from these? To whom were the words addressed? Why? Explain please.

How can we understand today the theme of our lesson is “Professions we choose”.

Today we will learn new words and introduction of new material on the theme “Professions we choose”, to work with texts.


After that we will read and say these words correctly look at the blackboard
