Past Simple is used to indicate the action that happened at a certain time in the past, and the time of which has expired. To clarify the moment of an action in the past, using the Past Simple time are commonly used words such as five days ago (five days ago), last year (last year), yesterday (yesterday), in 1980 (in 1980) and so on.

Objectives:
Formation of knowledge of pupils on the theme "Past Simple.”.
Educational: to acquaint pupils with new material and fix in speech simple past tense;
Developing: develop the skills of pronunciation of regular verbs;
Brining –up: develop the skills of educational cooperation and cognitive interest in the subject.
Expected result: pupils will be able to change the regular verbs in the past tense

The main part: The theme of our lesson is “Past Simple Positive”. Today we are going to learn the grammar rules and do some exercises to practice the tense.
In order to put the English verb in Past Simple, you need to use it "second form". For most verbs is formed by adding the ending -ed:
examine - examined, enjoy - enjoyed, close - closed
However, there is also a large group of irregular English verbs, which form the past tense is not on the general rules for their past tense form should be easy to remember.

Warm up:Draw the Picture In this activity members split up into pairs or small groups. One person looks at a scene from a magazine or book (the leader should cut out enough pictures, or bring in enough magazines for the club). The other person has a pencil and a blank piece of paper. The person with the picture will try to describe everything he sees to the drawer. This is good practice for using prepositions of place. When the describer is finished, compare the drawings to the real thing! Whose is the closest to the original?
