1. Введение в языковую среду.

T: Good morning boys and girls! Glad to see you!

Today we shall speak about travelling. You know that our life is impossible without travelling. Many people like to travel. They can travel by plane, by train, by ship, by car, on foot. Today we shall travel by train. Many people prefer travelling by train. They think it's more comfortable and it's also not very expensive.

T: 1) And what about you? Do you like travelling?

2)What kind of travelling do you prefer?

1. Are the seats in our trains comfortable?

2. Do you like travelling by ship or by train?

3. Have you ever traveled by ship?

4. Did you travel by train in summer?

So, today we shall travel by train. Our travelling begins. During the travelling people like to read poems. Let's read a poem.

1. Let' s guess the crossword.

1. Say, what people like to do in summer.

2. Say, what people usually have with themselves in summer.

3. Say, how we call the place in trains where we sit

4. Say, what we use for carrying clothes and other things.

5. Say, where we buy tickets.

6. Say, by what people like to travel.

7. Say, what we need, when we want to sleep.

8. Say, what we can buy at the booking-office.

9. Say, where we can see many trains, such as mail trains, express trains or good trains.

2. Before travelling we must pack a suitcase. This is our suitcase. Imagine that is summer now. What should we take with us?

1. So we've packed our suitcase. It's very heavy. Now we must get to the railway station. Let's catch a taxi.

1. Choose the words to the theme "Travelling".

1. First of all, we should buy tickets. Your hometask was to prepare the dialogue "at the booking-office"

Imagine that we are at the booking-office and let's buy tickets. You should listen to the dialogues and be ready to answer my questions.

6. During the travelling different cases take place. Listen to the tape and answer the questions.

2) Where did the characters meet?

1. Now let's revise everything and make up a story about travelling. Repeat after me.
