Открытый урок по английскому языку на тему "Праздники в Великобритании"
Урок проводился в 6-А классе. У учащихся данной группы высокая мотивация на изучение иностранного языка с хорошими речевыми и языковыми способностями. На уроке были реализованы следующие принципы:1)принцип направленности обучения на комплексное решение задач;2)принцип доступности обучения.
Каждый вид наглядности использовался для более доступного восприятия речи учителя и развития навыка монологического высказывания. Принцип систематически и последовательности формирования знаний, умений и навыков соблюдался правильно, был правильный переход от простых заданий к сложным. Преобладающий характер познавательной деятельности – творческий.
Структура урока полностью соответствует логике проведения заявленного типа урока, так как моей основной организационной задачей являлось создание условий для обобщения раннее изученного материала по теме.
Для совершенствования навыков письма учащимся было предложено подстановочное упражнение с использованием раннее изученной лексики.
На данном уроке поставленные задачи оказались в основном решены.
Все этапы урока были пройдены. Временные рамки урока соблюдены. Считаю, что каждая из целей урока была достигнута, о чем ребятам было сообщено в качестве положительных оценок в конце урока.

Цель: активизация и обобщение лексики по теме “Праздники страны изучаемого языка”.
Задачи: Учебная:развивать навыки устной речи, формирование гибких и вариативных умений говорить, развитие навыков понимания иностранной речи на слух, навыков чтения и письменной речи, расширение и углубление культурологических знаний, повышение общей культуры общения. Развивающая: развитие навыков языковой реакции, памяти, внимания, мышления, восприятия и инициативы. Воспитательная: формировать уважение к культуре, истории, традициям, обычаям, нравам страны изучаемого языка, а через это уважение к национальной культуре; формировать умение активно и плодотворно работать в коллективе.

Lots of people all over the world look forward to a number of holidays each year. While having holidays we enjoy various things: singing, dancing, eating, visiting friends and relatives, playing, walking.

Halloween is a festival that takes place on October 31.. It is very funny and interesting holiday. They do funny pumpkins and like telling strange and horrible stories about ghosts and witches. People once believed that there were many ghosts and witches on the Earth and that they met on October31 to worship the devil. The main Halloween activity for Children is trick-or-treating. Children dress in costumes and masks and go from door to door saying "trick or treat". The neighbors give children such treats as candy, fruit and pennies. So that children do not play tricks on them.

P: I do. Christmas Day is celebrated on December 25. For most British families this is the most important festival of the year. Christmas is a time for eating. There are a lot of traditions connected with Xmas, but the most important on is the giving of present. The traditional food is turkey, Christmas cake, Christmas pudding made of fruits. Over the end of the bed people hang stockings. Children believe that Santa Claus will come down the chimney and fill the stockings with presents. A carrot for the reindeer is usually left on fireplace. On the Sunday before Xmas many churches hold a service. Every family has its own X-mas fir-tree.

The Easter Bunny has usually a basket of eggs. The Easter Bunny colors eggs for young children to find on Easter morning. Easter is a spring holiday and it has a religious background. On Easter we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Today children in Britain like eating candy bunnies and listening to the stories about the Easter bunny.
