Целиурока:

Учебно-практическая - активизацияизакрепление лексики по теме «TheQueen’sDay», развитие умений и навыков устной речи, развитие навыков понимания иностранной речи на слух, навыков чтения и письменной речи;

Познавательная -  расширение и углубление культурологических знаний, формирование и развитие социокультурной компетенции учащихся, повышение общей культуры общения, создание положительной мотивации к изучению иностранного языка;

Воспитательная - формирование уважительного отношения к иностранному языку, культуре других народов; развитие умения активно и плодотворно работать в коллективе;

 Развивающая - развитие навыков языковой догадки, языковой реакции, памяти, внимания, мышления, восприятия и инициативы; формирование универсальных учебных действий учащихся: регулятивных, познавательных, личностных и коммуникативных.

Тип урока: Смешанный с элементами нетрадиционного урока.

Оборудование: портрет королевы Британии, картинки, презентация PowerPoint, магнитофонная запись для физминутки.

Ход урока:

I.Организационный момент. Постановка задач урока.

Goodmorning! I am glad to see you. Sit down, please.

Who is on duty today? Is anybody absent today?.

What day is it today?

What season is it now?

OK. I hope everybody is ready to start. Well, today we are having a revision lesson. First of all, I’d like you to tell me what topic we are going to discuss. Let’s try to guess… Look at the pictures. Have you got any ideas? …

II.Обзордомашнегозадания:

Look at the photos! Do you recognize them?

…Yes, you are right!

Well, what can you say about them?

S1:- Buckingham Palace is one of the most famous buildings in the world. Many tourists come to see it every year.

S 2:It was opened in 1994.It is one of the 4 homes of the RoyalFamily.

S3:- Buckingham Palace is like a small village. There is a police station, a hospital, a bar, 2 sport clubs, a disco, a cinema and a swimming pool.

T: Yes, you are right!What can you say about the Houses of Parliament?

S4: The Houses of Parliament are known as Westminster Palace. It is the seat of 2 houses:

the house of Lords and the house of Commons.

S5:It lies on the North bank of the Thames. After a fire in 1834 the Houses of Parliament were restored.

T: Yes, you are right!What can you say about the Tower of London?

S6:Big Ben is a part of Westminster Palace. Also they call it the tower of Saint Stefany.

S7:The height of the Tower is 61 metres. The famous clock is a symbol of Great Britain. It’s weight is 13 tons.

III.Ознакомлениесновойтемой:Let’s get acquainted with the new theme. We have several words for learning:

VIII.Аудированиетекста: Well, we know that the Queen likes to listen to Scottish music. One of the components of Scottish musical instruments is a bagpipe. It looks like that!

Now we’ll have an audition.

New words: a bagpipe –

animals’skin –                          a goat -

shepherd’s-a tube -

Listen to me twice!

A bagpipe is an old musical instrument. It is made of the goat’s skin, sometimes of the animal’s stomach. It has three or five tubes. It was the instrument of peasants and shepherds.

T: Look at the screen! What words are missed there? Here they are! Choose the right ones and put them into the sentences! Retell the text!

(While retelling the text they listen to the bagpipe playing softly)

X.Постановка сценки «Принцесса на горошине». “The Рrincessand the pea”

Author: Once upon a time there lived a King and a Queen. Тhey had a child. It was time for him to marry, but he couldn’t find a real princess.

One day it was late and raining. Somebody knocked at the door. They opened the door and a beautiful girl came in.  She was wet through.

The Princess: Excuse me. I’ve lost my way. I’m a princess.

The Queen: Oh, it’s a pity. Change your clothes, please.Have supper with us.

The King: Are you all right now?

The Princess: Yes, I am.

The Queen: I shall prepare a bed for you. Well, my King, help me, please!

Author: The Queen whispers to the King’s ear.

The Queen:  Let’s try her! If she is a real princess our son will marry her. I’ m going to put a little pea under twenty feather- beds.

Author: So, the princess went to bed.

Morning came. The princess got up.

The King: - How did you sleep, my child?

The Queen: Why are you pale?

The Princess: - Oh! I feel bad. It seemed to me if I was sleeping on the stones or on the logs

Author: So the King and the Queen understood that she was a real princess. Soon the princess and the prince married. They lived long and happy.
