«Выбор профессии»

Образовательные цели:

– активизировать употребление в речи учащихся лексику по теме “Выбор профессии” через разные виды речевой деятельности: чтение, говорение, письмо и аудирование;
– познакомить учащихся с новой лексикой по теме “Личностные качества” и с новыми современными профессиями, способствовать употреблению их в речи учащихся.

Развивающие цели:

– развивать у учащихся умение анализировать свои личностные качества, применительно к данной профессии;
– способствовать развитию умения определять профессиональные качества личности.

Воспитательная цель:

– способствовать воспитанию понимания у учащихся важности и необходимости реализации своих умений и способностей через выбранную профессию.

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, интерактивная доска, презентация по теме урока, раздаточный материал.

Методы и приемы: проблемный, обучение в сотрудничестве, работа в парах, работа в группах, мозговая атака.

План урока

1. Организационный момент.

- Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. How are you today? Take your seats and get ready for the lesson. So, let’s start.

- Write down the date, please. (Запишите число, пожалуйста)

2. Речевая зарядка.

Чтение стихотворения (слайд № 1)

I Want to Ве
Some people often say to mе:
"Have уоu decided what уоu want to bе?"
I usually answer, "I don't know,"
But it isn't really so.
I want to win аn Olympic race,
I want to see the Earth from space,
I want to travel to Katmandu
I want to bе rich and famous, too.
I want to bе оn Hollywood's screen,
I want to invent а new machine,
I want to bе very clever and wise,
I want to win the Nobel prize.

T.: - OK. What is this poem about?

P.: - It’s about one person who doesn’t know what profession to choose.

T.: - Well, that’s right. And now tell me the theme of our lesson - …

P.: - “Choosing a career” (Исходя из стихотворение дети выводят тему урока) T.: Do you want to see the Earth from space?

T.: to bе rich and famous?

T.: Do you want to invent а new machine?

T.: Do you want to bе very clever and wise

T.: - Good, look at the screen now. (Слайд № 2)

- Here is a proverb. There is a name of a profession here. (Пословица с названием профессии, которую учащиеся пытаются узнать)

Every man is a blacksmith of his fortune. - Всякий человек своему счастью кузнец.

T.: Do you agree with this proverb? Then say it as if you are sure (you are surprised, you are doubt)

3. Мозговая атака.

- Of course, this profession is the profession of the past. Name different professions of our time or maybe of the future. (Назовите современные профессии)

(Слайд № 3):

Psychologist, accountant, lawyer, ecologist, doctor, computer programmer

• OK, good for you, let’s continue working.

4. Игра «Угадай профессию».

Someone who can count well the money

Someone whose job is to manage a company

Someone who works at a shop

Someone who flies a lot

Someone who works at office

(salesperson, computer programmer, pilot, builder, secretary, accountant, designer, manager, architect, mechanic)

5. Динамическая пауза.

(Класс делится на две команды. На доске записано слово “Profession” для каждой команды. Учащиеся по одному выходят к доске и записывают название профессий на английском языке, которые начинаются с букв, входящих в слово “Profession”. Побеждает команда, которая быстрее выполнит задание.)

6. Работа с новой лексикой.

I: It is important for you to know how to use the word “job”, “profession” and “career” (Слайд № 4):

A job is the work that a person does regularly in order to earn money.

A career is the series of jobs that a person does in his/her life.

A profession is a job that requires special training and brings a rather high social status.

7. Активизация новой лексики в письменной речи.

8. Совершенствование навыков монологической речи.

Работа с учебником. Выполнение упражнения упр.2 стр.124

T.: There are many new professions nowadays. Some of them appeared recently.

They are IT consultant, designer, manager… If young person wants to succeed in the 21 st century labor market, to make a good career he should be quick to learn and adaptable.

-What jobs will/ won’t be popular in the future?

-When are people satisfied with the job?

- What skills are necessary for different jobs?

9. Обсуждение проблемной ситуации.

T.: I’d like you to solve a problem. Imagine you are the boss of the company. You’ll have to hire one of two employees. One of them is a very efficient worker, the other is not. But he is your close relatives or your close friend. What would you do?

10. Введение новой лексики. (Слайд № 6)

I: Do you know that personal qualities and your character traits are very important for choosing profession.

Now we’ll read, translate and remember the personal qualities. (Students read the new world all together, then one by one. The teacher asks student translate into English and into Russian some of the words).

11. Активизация новой лексики в устной речи.

Игра “A professional bag”.

T.: I know that some of you hasn’t chosen the profession yet. Let’s tell the fortunes. I have a bag. There are some things which belong to different professions. Take one of them. Guess what profession it belongs to. Name what personal traits are very important for this profession?

12. Выполнение теста. T. :The choice of profession is very urgent and very important thing, because making a wrong decision brings many trouble in the future.

13. Совершенствование навыков аудирования по теме.

T. : Do you agree that choosing a profession is not easy .Imagine that you are a psychologist. Try to help your classmates to make a right choice. Make some tips for choosing a profession.

18. Объяснение домашнего задания.

- Thank you very much for your work. I hope that you will do the right choice after the 9^th form. But at the next lesson we will speak about male and female jobs. (На следующем уроке мы поговорим о мужских и женских профессиях).
