Theme:Review  (unit 4)

Aim:

  • To revise the last themes

Tasks:

  • To teach to use their knowledge in practice;
  • To develop their speaking,writing skills,to enrich their vocabulary;

Results:

  • Students use their knowledge in practice

 Resources:Family and friends by Naomi Simmons CB,WB,CD,internet,presentations

Lesson Procedure

          Try to arise interest / to encourage:

Greeting:

-Good afternoon,children!

-Good afternoon  teacher!

-How are you?

-We are fine,thank you,and you?

- I’m fine too.Thank you.Sit down.

-At first I want to divide you into two groups.I’ll give you smiles and according to  them you’ll sit in two groups.                                

-What date is it today?

-Today is…

-What day of the week?

Today is…

-Who is absent?

-… are absent/all are present

-What weather like today?

-Is it sunny?

-Is it rainy?.

-Ok,very good.Now,look at the board.We have one pnonetic drill.Listen and repeat

Baby Theo’s in the bath,

One,two,three.

Baby Theo counts his teeth,

One,two,three

-Children,what was your home task?

                                          Lesson Procedure

Main part:

Recognise the meaning:

-Children,today we have a revision.We’ll revise unit 4.What was our last theme?

Our last themes were "has got,shapes,I like,I don’t like"

-Ok.At first let’s remember  the  new words.There are 3 boxes here,the 1st box called 'drinks',the 2nd is "food",the 3rd "animals".I’ll show you pictures,you must call them and put in the correct box.

 -Let’s remember the using of have got/has got.I’ll give you pronouns.You must make a flower(1st  group using have got,2nd  with has got).

Ok,look at the board.I’ll give you some pictures.Make up the sentences with them.I’ll give you three minutes.

-Your time is over,read your sentences.

       She has got blue eyes.

       She has got long hair.

       He has got short hair

-«Guessing game»-I’ll give you  one  toy animal.And one group must describe it and the next group must guess it.Look at the board, there given an example.

It’s big.It’s got big ears.It’s got long nose.What is it?(elephant)

-Children,let’s do some exercises:

And now stand up!

Show me how you fly!

Show me how you run!

Show me how you swim!

Show me how you jump!

Show me how you sit Thank you

Ok,children.Let’s remember the using of I like.I don’t like….How is it translated :

«Ма?ан алмалар ?найды»,

I like apples.

Ма?ан маймылдар ?намайды»,

I don’t like monkeys

Са?ан  итттер ?найма?»

Do you like dogs?

-Very good.The first group,go to the blackboard.Let’s play.Stand here,ask  Do you like…?with the names of animals.You must answer this question and give the ball to the next pupil.

Second group ask questions with the names of foods.

Reflection / Consolidation

Children,do the menu of restaurant in two groups.I’ll give you pictures of foods.You may use them.Then we have role  play “At the restaurant”

Assessment  :  Give up the smiles

Home Assignment   :

Essay:

1st group:My favourite  animal

2nd group:My favourite food
