The aim of the lesson:   

1.Educational: to talk about sport, types of sport.     

2.Developing: develop learners’ writing skills and speech habits, activate the language which students have learnt in the classroom.

3.Bringing – up: bring up going in for sport and being healthy way of life

The type of the lesson:

a lesson of teaching vocabulary and Grammar.

The form of the lesson: 

Work in groups

The methods of working:

warm – up, conversation, work in groups, writing, listening.

Inter subject connection:

Kazakh, Russian, Sport

The visual aids: be

Student’s book, Workbook, different cards, slides, CD-s, video

Objectives: 

at the end of the lesson the pupils will be able to:

•           talk about sport, types of sport. 

•           use thematically vocabulary in oral speech.

•           develop their speaking and listening skills

•           use Present simple + frequency adverbs in their speech.

Sport is very popular in our state. Many people go in for sport. Sport helps us keep in good health. The most popular sports are athletics, football, volleyball, basketball, boxing, tennis.

Our school pupils have PT lessons. After the school they may train at sports clubs.

As for me, I like football. I attend a sports football club. Our team plays very well. In future I want to be a football-player.

-No, I like to watch them, but I don't play them. I like to play tennis and badminton. I like to play snowballs, skate, ski, sledge.

And what about you? What sport games can you play well?

-I think I can play volleyball and tennis well. And what sports do you like?

- I like to swim. I can swim well. I go to

the swimming pool with my brother.

-OK. Bye, Ally.

- Bye, Ben.
