Beginning

Start-up

(W) Teacher greets the students and presents the aims of the lesson.

(D) Teacher demonstrate objects of the class room using projected visual images. Teacher models: “It’s a rubber…”

E.g. It’s a green pen. It’s a red pensil.

(W) Teacher nominates a learner to say what projected image is.


(W) Stick cards in a line on the blackboard. And say only names of objects one by one. Then learners should repeat it with teacher. Then teacher remove 1st card and continue in the same way. Remove all cards one by one and repeat all the words. (Big pen, small bag, small book, big chair, small desk)

Middle

Warm-up. “Please” Learners listen teacher and only do what he says. When teacher says – “please” – they have to do it. If he does not say “Please” and learners do not do it, they sit down. Game continues until no one left standing.

(I)(f) Learners given the worksheets with the small and big animals. They look at the animals in each of the four sections and then color the big animals – blue and the small animals – green.

Assessment criteria: 3-4 from 4 (sections, right colored) – a smile with thumb

2 and less – a smile.




End

(I)Two objects are placed in front of every leaner. Every learner stands. Teacher nominates one to begin. Learner says what objects are. If correct, sits down. If not, remains standing and passes object he/she could not describe to the learner. Game continues until no one left standing.


Feedback: Red or Green.

Every learner have red and green sticks, they have to put red or green stick on the blackboard.

Green stick – the lesson was interesting and everything was alright.

Red stick – the lesson was boring.
