Урок по теме «Политическая система Великобритании»

Цели:

Образовательные

1. повторение лексики по теме "The political System of GB",

2. обобщение и систематизация умений и навыков на основе монологических высказываний по теме "The political System of GB"; 

3. развитие самосознания и ценностной ориентации учащихся, понимание роли права и правового регулирования в жизни;

Воспитательные

1. воспитание уважительного и терпимого отношения к культуре своей страны, страны изучаемого языка

2. умение работать в команде

Развивающие

1. развитие навыков речевой деятельности: говорения, чтения, письма;

2. расширение активного и пассивного словарного запаса студентов по теме занятия, 

3. развивать навыки поискового чтение, пересказа по ключевым словам;

Оборудование: раздаточный материал, карточки, таблицы, словари, текст.

План урока

1. Орг. момент

Приветствие, перекличка студентов, выявление отсутствующих, проверка готовности к уроку, организация внимания студентов;

2. Формулировка целей и темы занятия

3.Введение в языковую среду

4. Повторение и закрепление лексики

5. Работа с текстом.

6. Работа с таблицей

7. Выполнение заданий в команде (ответы на вопросы и выполнение теста) для каждой команды разные задания и вопросы.

8 Повторение пройденной грамматики

9. Совершенствование навыков письма

10. Подведение итогов

Ход занятия:

Организационный момент.

- Good morning! I’m glad to see you. Let’s start our lesson. We discussed the political System of GB", read the text "The political System of Great Britain" and now we’ll try to compare the political systems of both countries.

- Today we are going to work in groups and speak about the political system of Great Britain the large and powerful English-speaking country. At the end of the lesson you will be able to describe the political system of the Great Britain.

Let us read the poem. It is the national anthem of Great Britain.

When you listen to a politician who speaks English you can understand some words without translation. Why?

Listen to the speaker and repeat the words on the cards: government, the Administration, the Prime Minister, the Parliament, parliamentary monarchy, the Monarch, the symbol of national unity.

Political System of UK

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is a constitutional monarchy.

The power of Queen Elizabeth II is not absolute. It is limited by Parliament. The legislative body, Parliament, consists of two chambers: the House of Lords and the House of Commons.

The executive body consists of the central Government — that is the Prime Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers, who are responsible for initiating and directing the national policy.

The judiciary body is independent of both the legislative and the executive ones.

The Government derives its authority from the elected House of Commons. General elections, for all seats in the House of Commons, must be held at least every five years. The Government is normally formed by the political party which is supported by the majority in the House of Commons. The leader of the party is appointed the Prime Minister by the Queen and chooses a team of ministers. The second largest party becomes the Official Opposition with its own leader and the “Shadow Cabinet”.

The House of Lords is a hereditary chamber. In Great Britain there is no written constitution, only customs and traditions.

Применение знаний, формирование умений и навыков по переводу предложений из активного залога в пассивный.

Студенты получают карточки с индивидуальными заданиями по повторенному грамматическому материалу, состоящему из двух частей: трансформация предложений из активного залога в пассивный, постановка общего, альтернативного и специального вопросов к предложениям.
