Integrated english lesson was held in the 7 th form. 

The lesson was as a competition in gymnaziun. The pupils took a very active participation in all kinds of work, they did different tasks by running, jumping. They presented their projects.

This lesson was high appreciated by collegues. We'll organise other intergrated lessons in the future.

Warm-up

Good morning,children! I’m happy to see you!

How are you? Today we’ll have an integrate lesson in English and in Physical training.

Pupil on duty gives a raport.

Please count yourself.

Today we’ll revise our knowledge on the theme “Sport”.

We’ll try to make our competition merry and interesting. You must know the rules. They are very easy. Your task is to do the actions and follow English instructions. You must support each other by clapping your hands. Today we have 2 teams,they are “Champions” and “Sport stars”. Let’s introduce our jury. They are: Aktoty Zhubatyrovna, Aigul Aitgalamovna and Nazigul Muratbekovna. Well, teams to the start.


As a warm-up. Let’s do the actions. Listen and follow my instructions!

Jump, run, hop, stamp, clap, fly, swim.

It’s enough. Well done!

Do you want to do stretching exercises?

Head rolling” exercise

Lean your head to the left. Head rolling.

Next lean your head to the right.

Now very slowly, roll your head forwards, sidewards,backwards. Round to the front again. Do this 5 times.




Shoulder circles” exercise


First lift your shoulders up and down. Then very slowly, circle them back, down, forwards and up. Do this 7 times.




Smiling” exercise

Smiling is good exercise! First make a sad face then smile.

A really big smile. Raise your eyebrows at the same time. Smile….,smile….., smile…., stop! Do this three times.

“Snake running”

game


Children, you have to prepare projects about Sport stars and different kinds of sports.

Teams must introduce themselves.

Well, it’s high time to begin our competition. Teams to the start. Listen to the rules!

You see two posters. Your task is to run fast and write the words. The team “Champions” has to write all sport words beginning with letter B. (baseball, boxing, basketball, badininton, biathlon).The team “Sport stars” has to write all sport with word ball (football, netball, handball, basketball, volleyball,basefall). Well done! I’m proud of you!

Do you like to play with ball? We’ll play basketball. Everybody run with a ball and throw to the basket.And do the tasks on the table.

You must stand in a circle and do the actions according to the colours.

I know that you like to run. Come up to me two pupils, from each team. Turn back to your friend, put the balloon between you and run as quickly as you can.

Your task is to make up as many words as you can out of the words: Competition ( 1 team),

Instruction (2 team).

Running as crabs

Everybody must run as crabs and write a sport word with any letters.

Make crosswords with words: Tennis (1 team)

Cricket (2 team)

Captains’ competition

Be attentive, quick and answer my questions.

What game is played between 2 teams of 11 players? (football)

This game is played by 2 players of 6 players each on an ice field. (ice hockey)

What game is played on a court with a large orange ball?

What game is played with a small white round ball and a bat?

(baseball)

What indoor games do you know?

What summer kinds of sport are popular in Kazakhstan?
