Good morning, children. I am glad to see you. How are you?

2.Фонетическая зарядка
Let’s remember some English sounds. Look at the board. You can see different sounds. Now I’ll give you the cards with 2 English proverbs. You’ll have to read them and say what sounds we have there. Is it clear? OK.
For this contest you need the alphabet, I’ll give it to you later, a pen and a piece of paper. Now I shall name you the numbers and you are to write them down and to decode the words. Every team will have 3 words and 2 minutes to decode them. The words are from our topic “Health”. For every right word you’ll get a token. Are you ready? Well, let’s start!
You have succeeded in the 1st contest, now let’s pass on to the 2nd one. Here your task will be to change the words so that to get some advice how to be healthy. Is it clear? Very good! Ready? Steady? Go! (слайд 10)
a) your, eat, Wash, before, hands, you. (Wash your hands before you eat)
b) live, eat, but, to, not, live, Eat, to. (Eat to live but not live to eat)
I see that two contests were rather easy for you. So I want to give you a task which is more difficult. But before it I’m interested if you know what the word “tongue-twister” means.
Yes, it means “скороговорка”. Do you know any Russian tongue-twisters? OK. Now I want you to try yourself in pronouncing one English tongue-twister. I’ll give you cards with it, we‘ll read it aloud and then I’ll give you one minute to prepare it. Ready? Let’s start.

Doctor: I’m sorry to hear that. I’m sure things aren’t as bad as you imagine. Everything will be all right. Let me examine you.
Mr Grant: Oh, I hate staying in bed and taking medicine.
Doctor: Well, I think you’ve got a flu.
Mr Grant: That’s too bad. Poor me.
Doctor: Take it easy. It’s only flu. Take the medicine and stop worrying. Eat more fruit and vegetables. Give up meat and fast food. Goodbye, and cheer up.
