I. Подготовительный этап.
1. Организационный момент. Приветствие.
Teacher: Good morning dear boys and girls! I am very happy to see all of you. Today I will be your tour-guide.
Children: Good morning!
2. Презентация темы и задач. Речевая разминка.
(песня Frank Sinatra “America the beautiful”)
Children: listening to song
Teacher: Have you liked this song? To what country we are going to make a trip?
Children: To the USA
Teacher: Right! Stand up, please and come here. I will tell you a name of the color. You should find your friend with the same color, asking questions.
For example: my color is red and I’d like to find another red color, so I say – I am red. What color are you? Do you understand?
Teacher: Let’s begin finding your color.
Children: I am green. What is your color?
I am yellow. What is your color?
Teacher: I see you have finished. Green colors come here, now you are a team. Yellow colors you are an another team too.

Teacher: Take a sit, please. Before our tour around the USA we should read some advice for tourist, how to behave in abroad.

- You must bring your passport to airplane
- You must show your ticket at security-control

- You mustn’t have any liquids and sharp objects in your baggage.
Teacher: 1. What must you bring to airplane? (Without this you can’t leave Russia)

Teacher: 2. What can you take with you? (How will you contact with your parents?)
Children: Cell-phone
Teacher: 3. Must you have any liquids and sharp objects in your baggage?
Children: No, we mustn’t
Teacher: 4. What must you show at security-control? (Without this you can’t fly by airplane)
Children: Ticket
Teacher: 6. What can’t you do? (Can you go to abroad without adults, alone?)
Children: Go alone

Teacher: Take your book, please. Repeat after me. On, above, behind, next to, in, under, in front of.

Teacher: Tell me the famous people of America.
Children: Mark Twen, Jack London, Henry Ford etc.
Teacher: Do you know Walt Disney? What was he?
Children: He is a …
Teacher: What Walt Disney’s cartoons do you know?
Teacher: I will give you the cards with a character’s name from Walt Disney’s cartoon. You should guess which character you are. Ask yes/no questions.
Children: Am I an animal? Am I a person? Am I a boy? Am I a girl? Am I a Winnie the pooh? etc (дети угадывают персонажей из диснеевских мультфильмов)
Children: Yes, you are.
Children: No, you aren’t

Teacher: Now I want to offer you a presentation. Your task is to write down any words associated with pictures you’ll see.
