And now say me, please, where would you like to go in this city on the 4th of July? Look at the board and use these phrases. Speaker 1: My whole family, I mean not just me, my brother and my parents, but my grandparents, aunts, cousins and uncles, all of us, are having a barbecue on the beach. I'm staying there till two. Then I have to get ready for the Grand Parade. I'm in a school marching band. And the others are coming to watch me march in the parade. At night, when it gets dark, we always watch fireworks from the roof of our house. It's beautiful! We can see five displays at the same time.
Speaker 2: Well, I'm not planning to do anything
special - but I'm taking my two dogs to the Pet Parade and then we're having a barbecue on the beach. Then we'll play some Softball or volleyball, relax and take things easy. I'm certainly going to see the fireworks in the evening.
There's a place called Dinosaur Hill just a short walk from our house. All the people from our neighborhood gather to watch the display. You get more excited when you're sitting with a group and hear everyone say oooh and aaah together, and you hear the fireworks boom, and then you see them paint the sky with millions of lights. It's like gold pouring from the sky.
