Aims:    Educational: to develop student’s ability to talk about their health in general; to recycle the vocabulary on the given theme;   Developing: to develop pupils’ skills and habits in speech through asking questions; to develop the pupils’ speaking, listening and writing habits; to develop critical thinking, logical speech; to develop reading skills.   Brining – up: to bring up feelings of improving their memorizing.

Type and methods of the lesson: combined, critical thinking, individual work, group work, game

Visual aids: slides, logbook, markers, a computer, an interactive board

The procedure of the lesson

  1. Organization moment.

- Greeting the pupils.

- Good morning, pupils
- Who is on duty today?
- Who is absent?
- Well, thank you


2. Warm - up.
- And now pupils let’s begin today’s lesson. Today we will speak about our memory. At the last lesson we spoke about memory. What is the memory? What types of memory do you know?

Memory is the process in which information is encoded, stored, and retrieved. Today we`ll speak, how to improve our memory.

  1. Answer the following questions.

1. How many phone numbers and dates of birth can you remember?

2. Where were the Olympic Games in 2004?

3. Do you remember your first teacher’s name?

4. When is your parents` wedding anniversary?

3. Memory game. Who has the best memory?

4. Vocabulary work.
