Beginning of the lesson

The lesson greeting.

The teacher sets the lesson objectives, letting students know what to anticipate from the lesson.

Warm up.

The game “Bingo”. Teacher gives six pictures of the cities in Kazakhstan. On the pictures they should write the names of cities, who finish first tells “Bingo”. After they will correct, if they have mistakes.

Free talk.

Look at the word " My country".

Make a cluster in pairs association with the theme “My country”

-Guys, what do you know about the Republic of Kazakhstan? What poems do you know about the Motherland? (children's answers)

Activity 1. S2.(Whole class work)

On a slide appears the pyramid which demonstrates the pictures of Kazakhstan.

Teacher asks some questions to the learners.

-Where can we see our Republic? (on a map)

-What is a map? (A map is a smaller image of the earth's surface)

- What can we see on the map? (rivers, lakes, deserts)

- What are the largest rivers in Kazakhstan.

- Can you show them on the map?

Teacher drills different geographical names which were in learners’ answers.

Formative assessment:

Teacher assesses orally

(well done, good, right, perfect, think better)

Teacher says the words and shows the pictures of these words and learners repeat after the teacher.

Activity 2. 5S7.(Pair work)

Compose the topic using words from boxes. Then tell it to your partner.

Example: Kazakhstan is my country.

Then the teacher asks each pair to make up 6-7 questions to each other about these geographical sights.

Activity 4. (Writing). (Group work)

Magic box”.Divide the class into the 3 groups by the pictures “Bayterek”, “Pyramid”, “A golden man”. On the board are the letters in the scatter you need to collect the correct name of cities, rivers or parks in the correct value. Each group is given three words.

Each pair will evaluate each other with the smiles:

Teacher gives the learners the topic about “My country”

My country”

I want to tell you about my homeland. My homeland is Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is an independent Republic. It is situated in the Central Asia. All people of Kazakhstan have equal rights and duties. Nur-Sultan is the capital of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is the place where space dreams and projects have come into reality. The climate is continental. I think my country is the best. I like it.

A – level. Look at this topic and write about your dream country.
