The theme: Food and drink
The aims of the lesson:
a) to enlarge pupil’s vocabulary, to speak about foods and drinks;
b) to develop pupils’ skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking speech, to understand oral speech, to enrich listening;
c) to develop the interest to English language, to teach pupils to respect each other and the culture of another nations, bring up them to love English languages. to speak about plants and animals;
The type of the lesson: mixed lesson.
The kind of the lesson: demonstrative lesson.
Visual aids: pictures, cards, an interactive board.

I. Organization moment.

- What's my favorite food? Well, these days I really love fruit, especially grapes and I also like avocados. I don't really go for green apples though. They usually taste too sour. In the past I liked Italian food but these days I'm trying to be more healthy so I cut that out.

- What's my favorite food? I don't really have any favorite food. I like guoza. It's the Japanese dumpling. I can never stop eating that. I guess that's my favorite food.

IX. Reading.
- Read, translate and guess what fruit is it?
OK, this fruit is big. It's round. It's pretty heavy. Usually, it's green on the outside. It's hard on the outside but very soft on the inside. You need to cut it before you can eat it.
OK, this fruit is soft on the outside and soft of the inside and you must peel it or cut it before you eat it. Usually people peel it with their hands before they eat it. It's round and it comes from a tree and you can use it to make juice.
OK, this fruit is small and you can peel it but most people don't. You can cut it but most people don't. This fruit you pick and throw in your mouth and eat. It's very easy, maybe the easiest fruit to eat of all fruits.
