Aim of the lesson:
a) educational: to introduce the pupils with new grammar material and with new words of the lesson, to teach them how to use the new words in their own sentences, to teach them to work with active board b) developing: to develop the pupils to speaking, reading, writing and auding abilities, to teach them to poly languages c) cultural: to educate them to respect their classmates, friends, teachers and to teach them to be a honesty, to teach them to patriotism.

IV. New material - Modal Verbs 1. We use must: • To express obligation, necessity and duty. You must wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle.( You have to wear a helmet.) • To express that it is necessary to do sth. I must water the plants. (It's necessary.) • For positive logical assumptions. She must be an actress. I've seen her on TV. (I'm sure she's an actress.) 2. We use have to to express that it is necessary to do smth ( especially when somebody else other than the speaker has made the decision.) I have to stay late at work tomorrow. ( My boss told me to stay.) 3. We use can/ could /may/ might to ask for permission. Could /May /Might are more formal than can. Can I go to the park? Could /may/Might I take next Monday off? ( Is it permitted for me to…?)
4. We use can / may to give permission. May is more formal than can. Of course you can use the phone. You may leave your luggage here, sir. (You are allowed to…)

Game: “ How many words do you know?”
Class divided into two groups. In each group goes to the black board and writes the verbs.
VII. Brainstorming.
Pupils in each group must make up the combination of words such as: with the verb play, go, do, ride –
mountaineering, cricket, tennis, rugby, yoga, weight lifting, a bike, swimming, running, football, basketall, a horse, a bicycle, volleyball, gymnastics, judo, jumping, windsurfing.

IV. Fixing the new lesson
To decide a puzzle and continue the sentence “Today’s lesson is ……….” and translate. All the questions in the puzzle concerns passed materials.

I give to pupils the theme “Whales”. And each pupil takes the pen and say about whales (pupils say about their opinions about whales)
Game: ”A lump of snow.” Pupils again work in groups. Groups make lumps of snow with the questions and attack each other. There may be such questions.

Do you know this?
Whales have skin. Their skin is gray or black in colour. Under the skin there is a lot of fat. This fat is used to make oil. The oil is used for many things such as making soap or burning in lamps.Some whales have oil in their heads.This oil is valuable.
From 114 to 228 liters of oil can be found in the head of some whales.
Grey whale
This whale is famous for its long migrations. Its main breeding area is off the coast of Mexico, but it spends the summer on the edge of the Arctic Ocean, about 10,000 km away.
Unlike most large whales, grey whales feed on the seabed.
Southern right whale
Right whales got their names because they swim slowly and float when they are dead. Over the centuries, so many have been killed that the northern right whale is almost extinct.
Whales give birth once every three or four years.
Blue whale
The blue whale is the largest animal that has ever lived. Some weigh more than 150 tones. Blue whales have huge mouths, j Females begin to breed when they are about ten years old. They j give birth once every two or three years. In the early 1900s, there were about 200,000 blue whales, now only about 12,000 a re left.

Birds are found in almost every part of the globe.

A good example is the traditional British Sunday lunch which consists of roast - beef, potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. British people eat a lot of meat. Mineral water is not very common. The most popular drink with meals is tea. British breakfast consists of cornflakes with milk, toasts with marmalade, honey and tea. They eat large meal at midday. At about 5 o’clock they have tea with bread and butter and cakes. In some families the midday meal is the chief one of the day. And in the evening they have a simple supper an omelets, or sausage, sometimes bacon and eggs.

Traditional foods. The traditional Kazakhstan food include mutton and horse beef as well as sour – milk producers which are closely associated with nomadic way of life. The main dishes of Kazakh cuisine are as follows: cooked mutton and horse – beef (besharmak), kurdak. Horse – beef delicatessen (chuzuk, kazy, zhal, zhaya), sheep’s milk, cow’s milk and products (katyk, kurt, irimshik and mare’s milk (kymyz). Appearance of flour in the Kazakh diet renewed the traditional dish – besharmak, which began tobe served with large pieces of rolled dough.

Traditional food in Kazakhstan The main national dish of Kazakhs is beshbarmak. Beshbarmak prepares from mutton, a horse - beef. Besbarmak - a dish eaten with five fingers. The sheep's head was for respected guests Kuyrdak - was prepared from slaughtering meat Bauyrsak - national dish of Kazakhs, prepares from flour The tastiest meats of the horse were zhal, zhaya, kazy, and karta. Kazy - is a very dear and delicious meal karta - a large horse intestine which was very tasty when cooked. Zhal - the layer of fat under a horse's mane. Zhal was another special portion of fat sliced especially for invited guests, to be served with kazy, a rump and Zhaya - rump of a horse, this is very delicious; Kurt - This is a product prepared by the process of pressing thick sour cream. National drinks koumiss, shubat, airan. Airan - sour milk - Kazakh used this winter and summer, cow's milk was given to kids Shubat - fermented camel's milk - Shubat often served as a medicine. Meals and Meal Times Some people have their biggest meal in the middle of the day and some have it in the evening, but most people today have a small mid - day meal - usually sandwiches, and perhaps some crisps and some fruit. We have three main meals a day: • Breakfast - between 7: 00 and 9: 00, • Lunch - between 12: 00 and 1: 30 p. m. • Dinner (sometimes called Supper) - The main meal. Eaten anytime between 6: 30 and 8: 00 p. m. (Evening meal) Traditionally, and for some people still, the meals are called: • Breakfast - between 7: 00 and 9: 00, • Dinner (The main meal) - between 12: 00 and 1: 30 p. m. • Tea - anywhere from 5: 30 at night to 6: 30 p. m. On Sundays the main meal of the day is often eaten at midday instead of in the evening. This meal usually is a Roast Dinner consisting of a roast meat, yorkshire pudding and two or three kinds of vegetables. BREAKFAST What is a typical English Breakfast? Most people around the world seem to think a typical English breakfast consists of eggs, bacon, sausages, fried bread, mushrooms and baked beans all washed down with a cup of coffee. Now - a - days, however, a typical English breakfast is more likely to be a bowl of cereals, a slice of toast, orange juice and a cup of coffee. Many people, especially children, in England will eat a bowl of cereal. They are made with different grains such as corn, wheat, oats etc. In the winter many people will eat "porridge" or boiled oats. What is the traditional English Breakfast? The traditional English breakfast consists of eggs, bacon, sausages, fried bread, baked beans and mushrooms. Even though not many people will eat this for breakfast today, it is always served in hotels and guest houses around Britain. The traditional English breakfast is called the 'Full English' and sometimes referred to as 'The Full English Fry - up'. LUNCH What is a typical British lunch? Many children at school and adults at work will have a 'packed lunch'. This typically consists of a sandwich, a packet of crisps, a piece of fruit and a drink. The 'packed lunch' is kept in a plastic container. Sandwiches are also known as a 'butty' or 'sarnie' in some parts of the UK. My favourite sandwich is prawn and mayonnaise. I also love tuna and mayonnaise and ham and pickle sandwiches. A typical British meal for dinner is "meat and two veg". One of the vegetables is almost always potatoes. What is a typical British Dinner like today? The traditional meal is rarely eaten nowadays, apart from on Sundays. A recent survey found that most people in Britain eat curry! Rice or pasta dishes are now favoured as the 'British Dinner'. Vegetables grown in England, like potatoes, carrots, peas, cabbages and onions, are still very popular. The Sunday Roast Dinner Sunday lunch time is a typical time to eat the traditional Sunday Roast. Traditionally it consists of roast meat, (cooked in the oven for about two hours), two different kinds of vegetables and potatoes with a Yorkshire pudding. The most common joints are beef, lamb or pork; chicken is also popular. Beef is eaten with hot white horseradish sauce, pork with sweet apple sauce and lamb with green mint sauce. Shopping in London. Oxford Street is a very big and popular shopping centre in London. There are clothes shops and shoe shops, book shops and dress shops. One of the largest department stores in Oxford Street is Selfridges.
