The Theme: “Family traditions in the U.K. and Kazakhstan”.
Objective: To expand students' knowledge of family tradition in the UK and Kazakhstan.
Objectives:
education:
• to practice speech activity; • teach logic statements relating to; strengthen students' vocabulary on the theme "Tradition"; • educational: to help develop an interest in the culture of their own country; foster respect for the culture of the target language country.
• developing: help develop interdisciplinary communication and educational interest of students; develop skills of dialogue and monologue speech, the ability to conjecture, imagination;
Hardware: interactive whiteboard, posters, handouts, stationery, presentation of the lesson.
The procedure of the lesson.
I. Organization moment.
A) Greeting.
B) Checking the lesson assignment.
Teacher: Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. Today we will speak with you about the most famous holidays and customs of Great Britain and Kazakhstan. We also will revise lexical and grammar structures. I hope that it will be interesting for you during our lesson.
Let’s start our lesson.
II. Writing.
The first task. Find the right word.

P5 :St. Valentine’s Day is celebrated on the 14th of February.
P6: Christmas is celebrated on the 25th of December.
IV. The main part of the lesson.
Reading the texts and doing the presentation.
The pupils read the text: “ Nauryz”- the first group and “ Christmas”- the second group. Then two groups give their presentation.
