Lesson 33. Theme: Eating habits

The aims of the lesson:

educational: Presentation of the lesson about "Eating habits”,  to train  new words and discussion an English language.

developing: To develop the pupils habits of the oral speech, to develop    pupils creative and logical abilities, understanding, reading and writing, grammar and lexical skills to revise Numbers and letters.

bringing-up: to bring up love and interest to the subject, to respect each   other, to create an English atmosphere in the classroom.

The methods of the lesson:  training, explanation, demonstration, interaction

The subjects relation: Kazakh, English

The visual aids:  diagrams on the tasks, pictures, posters

Phonetic drills  

1)Let’s find out the theme of our today’s lesson and revise the ABC. Every number means the letter. You should find out the words.

Now repeat after me.

[eә] – hear, there, share.

[ei] – make, say, they.

[oi] – boy, enjoy, voice.

I have a cup of tea with a cake for breakfast. For dinner I eat meat with potatoes and sometimes I have past with tomatoes. In the evening I have meat with potatoes and drink tea or coffee with milk.

Rose

At breakfast I have two eggs, bread and butter and yogurt. For dinner I have chicken sandwich and salad. I drink lemonade. For supper I like eating meat or sausage.

  • 2. Сountable nouns are nouns that can be counted. Most nouns in English are countable.
  • Examples:

  • Uncountable nouns are not counted in English. This usually has to do with the way English speakers think of these nouns. We often picture these nouns as a single concept or one big thing which is hard to divide. Many of these words are countable in other languages, but they ARE NOT countable in English Generally, we do not use plural forms of these words; however some of these words do end in “s”, so don`t get confused.
