The theme of the lesson: Early to bed, early to rise….

The aims of the lesson: To enable students to greet each other in English and to make simple introductions and identify people by name. To introduce with a new words, to bring up the students’ interest in learning English.

The procedure of the lesson

I. Organization moment.

- Good afternoon, pupils! I am glad to see you!

- Who is on duty today?

- Who is absent?

- What date is it today?

- What day of the week is it today?

II. Phonetic drill.

Ee [e], [i]

III. Presentation of the theme: Early to bed, early to rise… .

Vocabulary work.

It’s time for bed - Ұйықтатын уақыт болды

It’s very late – өте кеш болды

To be late- кешігу

to get dressed-киіну

to start-бастау

still- әлі

early-ерте

early to bed- ерте жату

early to rise- ерте тұру

IV. Grammar. Ex 1 p18PB. Track 9. Look at the pictures and listen.

Remember.

Present continuous, Positive Forms

I am (I’m) sleeping now.

He is (He’s) sleeping now.

She is (She’s) sleeping now.

We are (We’re) sleeping now.

You are (You’re) sleeping now.

They are (They’re) sleeping now.

Practice.
