The theme of the lesson: Descriptions

Aims of the lesson: to develop and review the students’ knowledge by three Models, to do the grammar, lexical tasks, to give descriptions with using the adjectives describing personality, to review the compound nouns

Type of the lesson: revision & consolidation lesson

Method of the lesson:Critical Thinking by Reading and Writing

Visual aids: a textbook, Active Studio (Slides, Flipcharts)

Warm up:

Good afternoon, students! I’m glad to see you! Let’s start our lesson. Today we are going to review and consolidate our knowledge by three Models.
I’ll give you a sheet of paper. This sheet of paper is called “Marking”. You’ll put the marks after each task. Don’t forget! And at the end of our lesson I’ll mark by your sheets of paper. OK!
At the beginning of our textbook we met with the girl. Let’s remember her.

Look at this photo.

Who is she? What’s her name?
Where does she live?
And at this moment she is in England, London. What is she doing in England?
Where’s she staying?
What’s her brother’s name?
What is this boy’s name?
Who is he to Ana?
Where does he live?

And now look at the next photo.

What’s this girl’s name?
Who is she to Ana?
What is this boy’s name?
Who is he to Clara?
And is this girl’s name?
Who is she to Ana?
And who know what Ana’s brother’s name is?

OK. We remembered about Ana. And now let’s review the adjectives. I want you to give the antonyms of the adjectives.
