Задачи:
1Совершенствовать речевые навыки учащихся
2)Активизировать употребление лексики в речи.
3)Развивать умения в диалогической речи.
Оборудование
Карта мира; карточки с названием имен, стран и столиц государств. УМК О. Афанасьева, И. Верещагина для углубленно изучения V.
Ход урока
I.Организационный момент
-Good morning pupils. I am glad to see you. How are you today?(We are fine)
-Lets begin our lesson
II.Фонетическая зарядка
Today, pupils, we`ll revise everything we know about continents and countries. But first of all we must revise the pronunciation of the words. Repeat after me: Europe, Asia, Australia, Antarctic, America, Africa, Germany, Vietnam, Spain, Italy, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome, Cairo, Hindi, Delhi, Peking, China, Egypt.

What is the name of the planet we live on?
Imagine that you are in a spaceship what will you be able to see from it?
Imagine that you have a big telescope what will you be able to see from it at night?
How many continents are there on the planet?
What are they?
How many oceans are there on the earth?

What is the smallest country in the world ?
What English-speaking countries do you know?
Is English or French an international language nowadays?
What foreign language are popular in Russia?
B) Teacher : I know that you did your best and prepared the flags of several countries. And now I want to be sure that you know the capitals the flags of some countries.

IV. Обучениедиалогическойречи
T Imagine, that you are at the international conference. I want to open our international conference. But first you must introduce yourself. Tell us your name, your country, the language you speak and your nationality.
P1. e. g. My name is Liza. I am from Germany. I am German, my language is German.
T: - The topic of our conference is «English – Speaking Countries». I must introduce our guest today. Her man is Mrs. Brown. She is an American. You may ask her different questions on our topic.
P1-I am… I am from… Do you think that English has become the most popular language nowadays?
G- Certainly it has. People speak English all over the world. In Russia & France, in Germany and Egypt people learn E. as a foreign language.
P2 – Hello, I am… I am from… Do you agree that English has become an international language in the 20th century.
G – Oh, yes, I fully agree. People will understand you practically everywhere if you speak English.
P3 – I am… I am from… Do they all speak the same language in all E. – speaking countries?
G- My answer «yes» & «no» There are some differences in the language, they speak in Great Britian, the USA, New Zeland, Canada& Australia.
P4- I am… Can you give us any examples ?
G – In America we speak American E. & in GB they speak British E.
For example we say «cookies & candies» & in GB they say «Biscuits & sweets»
P5 - And that is the equivalent for the British word «apartment».
G – Will, it`s «flat»
T – Thank you, you did will.
