*to develop speaking skills of pupils in every day situation especially at the hospital with the help of dialogues

*to improve listening skills of pupils via dialogues

The Procedure of the lesson

The Organizational moment:

Good day, students! How are you getting on today? Is anybody absent? Describe please the weather.

Warm up:

Now I want to know:Do you agree or disagree with my opinion?

“An apple a day keeps a doctor away”.

“The first Wealth is Health”.

Students say their own opinion accpording these proverbs.

S1:It is true because we must eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, a lot of vitamins every day.

S2: I also agree because ………etc.

And I think you guess that today we will speak about illnesses and medicine.

Checking up the home task:

Students, what is our home task? Any volunteers? A beautiful mind to retell workbook p 34.Students retell the text. If we have students whom I don`t ask next lesson I will ask you.

Presentation:

Dear pupils open your copy books,Vocabulary exercise books and write please some unknown words for you:

New words:

Avoid- кетіп қалу

Diarhea- іш өту

Liquid- cұйық

Plenty of- көп

Illness ауру

Symptoms симптомдар

Treatment емдеу



*Let`s do some exercises at the page 132 Aches and pains.

Any volunteers? Who will come to the blackboard and do this exercise?

Students open their exercise books and do .

Practice:

Let`s work with Listening, now open your book on p 40 Ex 1.Your task will be Complete the dialogue with the phrases in the box. Then listen and check. Be attentive, listen to it very carefully.

Answers;1)I`ve got a temperature 2) for about a week 3)Can I listen to your chest? 4)3 times after a meal 5)should keep warm

*Next task is ex 2 where you must match the symptoms(1-6) with the illnesses(a-f).

*Now students I have some letters from people who has some problems with health .Imagine that you are doctor and please give them some advices one by one come up to the board.They one by one come to the board and read and than give advices and prescriptions to those people.

*And students, I give you some cards according it you must make up a dialogue At the doctors`s. Students work in pairs and make up a dialogue than represent it to the class.



Production

You see, we speak about our health today and I think it depends on our mood so much I prepare you one song let`s sing it”Don`t worry be happy”.Firstly you listen and than please put the words which are necessary.And let`s sing together.

Evaluation:

Students will be evaluated according activity,brightness and coreesct doing home task.

Giving up the home task: make up a dialogue between a doctor and a patient.

The lesson is over.See you!
