Тема: «An example to follow »
Цель:
познавательный аспект - знакомство с личностями, которых британские школьники называют своими героями;
учебный аспект - совершенствование речевых навыков и формирование умения строить придаточные предложения с союзами who, whose;
сопутствующая задача – развитие умения воспринимать на слух информацию с общим охватом содержания;
развивающий аспект - развитие способности осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные речевые действия;
воспитательный аспект - формирование представления о том, кто может быть назван настоящим героем.
Речевойматериал:
основной: brave, legendary, skilful, selfless, well--mannered, heroic, to admire, to respect, to adore, to develop, to be proud of, to treat, to commemorate, a leader, an inventor, a scientist, an astronaut, a cosmonaut, a hero, an achievement, to win, a battle, to orbit the Earth, a contest, a championship, an action, courage.

- What do you think what will we do at our lesson today?
P: I think we’ll learn more about heroes.
P: To my mind we’ll get acquainted with new grammar rules and words.
P: I think we’ll talk about heroes using whose, who.
II.Основная часть.
1)Работа с лексикой урока.
Find the word that doesn’t belong:

2)Answer the questions:
Have you got an example to follow? What’s his name?
What kind of person is he/she?
What did he/she do?
What is your attitude to this person?
What is he/she?
3) Listen to your classmates attentively and fill in the following table. (Ученики рассказывают подготовленные дома сообщения о своих кумирах )
For example: I think real heroes are people who can win the championship or Olympic Games. They are brave, skilful and selfless. My hero is Roman Kostomarov. He is an ice dancer. He is the person who won many gold medals. He is very attractive and clever.
