Тема:«Who can you call a hero? »

Цель:

познавательный аспект -  знакомство с личностями, которых британские школьники называют своими героями;

учебный аспект - совершенствование речевых навыков;

сопутствующая задача – развитие  умения воспринимать на слух информацию с общим охватом содержания;

развивающий аспект - развитие способности осуществлять репродуктивные и продуктивные речевые действия;

воспитательный аспект - формирование представления о том, кто может быть назван настоящим героем.

Речевой материал:

основной: brave, legendary, skilful, selfless, well-mannered, to admire, to respect, to adore, to look up to, an action, a deed, an achievement, to win, a battle, to orbit the Earth, a contest, a championship 

Оснащение: все компоненты УМК В. П. Кузовлева 7 класс, презентация, кроссворд, карточки, компьютер, магнитофон, запись.

Ход урока:

Make up one sentence using whose

  1. Mahatma Gandi was an Indian lawyer and politician. His ideas and actions made the Indians free from the British crown.
  2. George Washington was a general and a politician. His deeds made him the first President of the USA.
  3. Stephen King is a popular American writer. His books are read all over the world.   
  4. Akira Kurosawa was a great Japanese film maker. His films won in different contests.
  5. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is an Austrian composer. His music is loved and admired by musicians and the public.

As for me, I can call Enrique Iglesias hero. He is my favourite singer. I like him very much. His songs are popular all over the world now. I look up to him, because he write songs himself.
