Theme of the lesson :Step 5. A day in my life.

Aim of the lesson :

- to encourage real use of language in group and pair work;

- to teach students to make oral presentations;

- to develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills ;

Audience Form 5.

Approximate time : 45 min.

Visual aids : cards, tables, diagram and blackboard.

                                       

Procedure of the lesson :

I. Motivation:

a. greeting;

b. talking about the weather;

c. checking -up the home task;

II. Presentation.

III. Practice.

IV. Production.

 

Lesson Planning Sheet:

I. Motivation:

a. greeting:

- Good morning, children! How are you today?

- Who is on duty today? Who is absent?

b. talking about the weather:

- What is the weather like today? - Is it cold or warm today?

c. checking - up the home tasks:

- Lets check up your home tasks.

Ex: 1 p. 90. Work with the cards. Translate the words into Russian and English.

Ex: 2 p.91.Role play.

II. Presentation.

a.Read the chart and mark the time. So that to do this task, we must remember these words:

-to get up- ?й?ыдан т?ру

-to have breakfast- та?ерте?гі тама? ішу

-to have lunch- т?скі тама? ішу

-to have supper- кешкі тама? ішу

-to have classes- саба?тар болу

-to go to bed- ?йы?тау

-to go to school- мектепке бару

-to go home-?йге бару

-school starts- саба? басталады

-school finishes-саба? ая?талады

-to do homework-?й тапсырмасын орындау

-to watch TV-теледидар ?арау

      -in the morning-та?ерте?

-in the afternoon-т?сте

-in the evening-кеште 

-And  now,  lets do the table.                                    Example: T: What time do you get up? 

           P: I get up at 7 o clock.

T: What time do you have your breakfast?

P: I have my breakfast at 7.30,etc.

Example, I like English, because it is very interesting subject.

       I do not like Math, because it is difficult subject for me, etc.

Task 4.   Ex:5 p.94.

Children, lets       the time.

Example, 7:00.It is seven o clock.

        7:05.It is five past seven.

        6:45. It is a quarter to seven.

        7:15.It is a quarter past seven.

        7:30.It is half past seven.

-And now, lets do Ex:5 p.54 in written form.
