The theme of the lesson: A DAY IN MY LIFE.
The aims of the lesson: - to develop the pupils ability in speaking English
-to be able to speak about weekdays and our days, Omar's day.
-to check pupils knowledge on the theme;
-to develop listening, writing and speaking abilities;
The methods of the lesson: pair work, work with posters, pictures, question-answers, listening;
The types of the lesson: presentation of the new theme;
The visual aids of the lesson: an interactive board, pictures, placards,  slide;
 

                                                 The procedure of the lesson: 
I.Organization moment. 
1. Greeting
Teacher’s activity
Pupils’ activity
 Good morning, boys and girls! Sit down, please. Glad to see you. How are you? You are going to have an unusual lesson. We have a lot of guests. Let’s greet them.

Now let’s make a circle and greet each other. Say your best wishes. I wish you good luck! Thank you!

2. I will divide students in three groups. And give  the groups  titles. OK, take your seats, please. (Слайд № 2)
II.Check up the home task. (Слайд №3)
-What is your home task for today?
Lets check up the new words.

 -Match the words with their definitions:
Monday – the first day of the week                    

   Tuesday- the second day of the week

 Wednesday – the third day of the week

Thursday – the fourth day of the week

Friday – the fifth day of the week

Saturday – the sixth day of the week

Sunday – the seventh day of the wee

III. Phonetic drill.

Breakfast in the morning.

Dinner in the day.

Tea comes after dinner.

Then comes time to play.

Supper in the evening,

When the sky is red

Then the day is over,

And we go to bed.

IV. Presentation of the new theme.
Today we shall take a new theme: A day in my life
First, of all we shall study new words: ( Слайд № 5)
To have breakfast-
To have dinner-
To have supper-
To get up-
To wash-
To go home-
To do morning exercises –
To go to school-
To go to bed-
To do homework-
To watch TV-
Now, write down on the copybooks:
In the morning- [in e mo:nin]- таңертең
In the afternoon-[in [in ә aftәnu:n]-түсте
In the evening-[in ә ivnin]-кешке

V. Revision of grammar: Present Simple (III жақ  he/she/it)

Omar’s day
My name is Omar. I’m eleven. I come from Kazakhstan but I live in London now. I go to school. I get up at half past seven in the morning and I have breakfast at eight o’clock. School starts at nine and we have seven lessons every day. We learn English, French, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Art, Computer Studies and Home Economics. I like Maths and English but I don’t like History. Lunch is at one o’clock. I have lunch at school. In the afternoon we have lessons or sport. School finishes at a quarter to three. I go home. Before supper I read or play with my English friends. We have supper at seven o’clock and then I do my homework or watch TV. I go to bed at ten o’clock. 
Now, children, look at the active board. There are some pictures. Put the pens on the desk and pay attention. We’d like to listen to our stories. Speak about yourself.
 

VIII. Presentation posters (Слайд №10)

Peoples read the text and make  posters.

IX. Evaluation. (Слайд №11)

Pupils give marks to each other.

Answer the questions:
1. What  does Omar do in the morning ?
2. What does Omar do in the afternoon?
3. What does Omar do in the evening ?

X. Conclusion. (Слайд №12)

2. Home task: Write about your day.
