«Me and my profession»

It was not easy for me to decide what profession to choose. Usually, pupils' plans for the future change many times during the school years. There are so many people who influence you in choosing your occupation. Parents and friends play a very important role in your choice. Teachers' influence on pupils' minds is also great. My favourite subject was foreign language . And I thought this was my teacher who made it so. I understand the importance of knowledge of a foreign language. It enables people from different countries to communicate with each other , to read foreign literature in the original, to broaden their outlooks. So I decided for myself to become a teacher of foreign language. Of course, I knew that it is not easy and takes much patience and effort. A teacher has to know how to teach, how to make difficult things understandable , how to get students interested in the subject. And of course a teacher ought to have perfect knowledge of his subject. I thought ideal teacher is the one who can combine all these. My teacher of foreign language was like this. She was a great specialist and also a nice personality. I hoped in future I can become as good teacher as she was. Today I am a teacher of foreign language. To my mind it is a great responsibility to bring up children. When a baby is born he knows nothing about the world. He gets impressions of what he sees around and needs the guidance of grown-ups. This is called teaching. And the teacher is a person who explains or shows how to fulfill something. The first teachers of children are parents. From the first steps they take care of us, trying to give full information about the environment. Children ask too much questions. They want to know everything – why it’s cold in winter, where Santa Claus lives, how the ice-cream is made etc. Parents have to answer them all to satisfy the kids’ curiosity. In fact, adults explain that we shouldn’t touch hot things in order not to burn arms, or we can cross the road to the green light. As the child grows up he is thirsty for knowledge and talks with mother and father aren’t enough. That’s why schools were invented. There young  people  can learn many interesting subjects. The figure of a teacher is very important for teenagers.

A teacher is a very important person for every family, where the schoolchildren live. The teacher has a big influence on students. His words are heard and followed. In the majority of cases the teacher is a significant person in the  life  of his pupils. They respect him , their hearts are open to their tutor. Of course, it depends on the teacher if he has a high prestige among the students. Good teachers always see good attitude from kids. It refers not only to the disciplines, but the behavior of the teacher: whether he gets on well with auditorium, allows the students to take liberties. When the individual is formed it doesn’t mean that the studying process has been finished. The person goes on perceiving the  life, he continues to learn. Here we can encounter a new kind of teachers. They’re  people  close to us. In various situations we can understand that they teach how to accept difficulties or overcome obstacles. A teacher is a person who plays an important role in a life to shape up the whole life. The teacher provides knowledge and improves the skill of students whether at home or school. The profession of a teacher is a very noble one.
