Использование песенного материала на уроках иностранного языка

Вряд ли стоит убеждать практикующего учителя в преимуществах, которые дает использование на уроках иностранного языка песенного материала. Это активизирует учебный процесс и познавательную деятельность, способствует закреплению в памяти языковых явлений, созданию устойчивых зрительных и слуховых образов, поддерживает интерес к обучению, стимулирует мотивацию обучения иностранному языку. Содержание песен знакомит учащихся с культурным наследием народов разных стран, их историей и традициями. Тексты песен помогают отработать произношение, расширить лексический запас, изучить грамматические конструкции, обеспечивают развитие навыков восприятия на слух живой речи. Поскольку в песнях ярко выражены особенности разговорной речи, использование при обучении песен способствует также и развитию навыка говорения.

Совместное исполнение песен в классе разрушает барьер между учителем и учеником, способствует созданию более тесных контактов между учащимися, поднимает настроение всем участникам учебного процесса.

При выборе песен учитывается возраст учащихся, их интересы, уровень владения языком. Содержание песен должно соответствовать учебной задаче.

Учитель продумывает место песни при изучении учебного материала. Песни можно использовать и при введении и закреплении новой лексики, а также при работе над грамматическим материалом. В некоторых случаях можно посредством песни проиллюстрировать использование идиоматических выражений и сленга.
