РАБОТА С ПЕСНЕЙ
НА УРОКАХ АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЗЫКА
Одним из наиболее эффективных способов воздействия на чувства и эмоции студентов является музыка. Известный педагог Я.А. Коменский писал, что тот, кто не знает музыки, уподобляется не знающему грамоты.
Музыка и пение оказывают неоценимую помощь в изучении иностранного языка.
Песни являются средством более прочного усвоения и расширения лексического запаса, так как включают новые слова и выражения. В песнях лучше усваиваются и активизируются грамматические конструкции. Разучивание и исполнение коротких, несложных песен с частыми повторами помогают закрепить правильную артикуляцию и произношение звуков. Песни стимулируют монологические и диалогические высказывания.
Методика работы с песней
На уроке песни могут использоваться:
- для фонетической зарядки;
- для более прочного закрепления лексического и грамматического материала;
- как стимул для развития речевых навыков и умений.
Работа с музыкальным произведением на уроках иностранного языка может проходить в несколько этапов:
Краткое ознакомление с авторами песни;
Первичное прослушивание;
Контроль общего понимания с помощью вопросов;
Перевод песни на родной язык студентами с помощью учителя;
Повторное прослушивание;
Фонетическая обработка отдельных слов и предложений;
Обсуждение песни и её оценка.
Relationship with Parents Linkin Park "Numb"
1 ) Some information about the band. Read and comment on the following.
The band 'Linkin Park' was formed in 1996 by Mike Shinoda, Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Dave Farrel and Joseph Hahn. Its first name was XerO. Later the new vocalist Chester Bennington joined the band and changed its name into 'Hybrid Theory' firstly and then into 'Linkin Park'. 'Linkin Park' is a colloquial variant of 'Lincoln Park'. The unique style of music made the band extremely popular all over the world. Their music is a mixture of hard rock, hip- hop and electronic samples, simultaneously hard and soft - this ambiguity brought the band success. It got several music awards and their first album became the best sold one in the USA in 2001. 'Numb' is the single from the band's latest album Meteora and can be interpreted as the expression of the relationship between the son and his mother.

Is the main character of the song satisfied with his position or does he want to change anything?
7) Listen to the song again and insert the omitted prepositions into the tapescript of the song.

8) Complete the sentences with the words from the song.

9) Read the text of the song and mark the key words in it. Then using these key words, speak about the problem of the main character of the song.

10) Have you ever experienced the same problems in your relationships with your parents? Describe your relationships using the new words.
11) Read the text of the song rhythmically. Listen to the song one more time. Sing together with the band in low tone. Then sing together with the band in a full voice.
