School rules and uniforms

Aims : - to teach pupils to obey school rules ;

-to present and practise modal verb

“ must ” and “ mustn ’ t ” ;

-to teach pupils to be polite with surrounding

people;

Objectives : -to enable pupils to speak about school

rules in their school;

-to develop pupils ’ listening , speaking and

writing skills ;

I must cut my hair .

She must do it.

Rule [ru:l] ереже

To arrive [ ә ’ raiv] жетіп бару , келу

To bring [briȠ] алып келу

A letter [letә(r)] хат , әріп

To miss [mis] кешігу , сағыну

Quiet [ ‘ kwaiәt] тыныш

tidy [ ‘ taidi] жинақты

Late [ leit] кеш

To chew [tᶴu:] шайнау

Chewing gum [ ‘ tᶴu:iȠ gᴧm] сағыз

Trainers [ ‘ treinәz] кроссовки

During [djuәriȠ] бойы , ішінде , барысында

Noise [nᴐiz] шу

You must :

-do your homework on time

-arrive at school at half past eight

-wear a uniform

-bring letter from your parents if you missed your lessons

-stand up when a teacher comes into the classroom

-keep your classroom tidy

-prepare everything for all lessons ( pens, pencils, ruler, crayons, calculator, geometry set, English dictionary )

You mustn ’ t :

-be late for the lessons

-bring mobile phone

-run in the corridors

-chew chewing gums

-wear jeans or trainers

-make a noise during the lesson

-leave school at break time

One Wednesday morning Finy Fox and Shiny Fox , the two little brothers , were walking to school.

They walked slowly for 10 minutes , the Shiny said ,

“ Be quick or we shall be late for school ! It is half past one ”.

But Finy said , “ I don’t want to go to school today . We are already late . We can have so much fun in the forest . Our mother thinks we are at school , so we can play in the forest . We can go home when we hear the boys coming home from school ”. Shiny said this was a good idea.

So the foxes ran to the river. What a good time they had ! They laughed a lot, they swam in the river, they danced with little bears.

The foxes didn’t think at all about their classrooms, their desks , pens, pencils , their books and their lessons. Wednesday was their longest school day – they had Maths , English , Handicrafts , Art and Nature study

All the subjects were very important. But the foxes didn’t want to study , to learn , to count and to read . They didn’t want to work. They wanted play outdoors.
