  • Russia is a multinational country, here you can taste a variety of, sometimes very exotic, dishes of many nationalities - from Tatar chak-chak (dessert made of dough with honey) to Yakut stroganina (freshly frozen fish or meat). But you will find traditional dishes of Russian cuisine in every corner of the country. Here are some dishes that you should definitely try in Russia .
Cabbage soup is a soup with cabbage, which was invented in the XI century. The list of ingredients includes meat, seasonings and sour cabbage brine dressing. However, the ingredients may vary depending on the type of soup (lean, fish, green) and the culinary skills of the chef – many Russians prepare this soup according to their own recipes. They eat cabbage soup with rye bread, sour cream or seasonings .

Subsequently, kvass began to be made from ready-baked bread, crackers. Some Russians still insist on homemade kvass. The drink is very refreshing in the heat. You need to drink it chilled.
