Australian cities

• Australia is one of the most urbanized countries in the world, where about 70% of the population lives in the cities, and more than 88% live in the cities on the East Coast of the continent.
• The largest city in Australia is Sydney (4.3 million people), Melbourne (3.8 million) and Brisbane (about 2 million),Perth (1.5 million people.) а nd Adelaide (1.1 million people).The capital is Canberra.

Sydney

• It is the state capital of New South Wales, the largest and most cosmopolitan city in Australia. Population is 4.3 million people. Several times it is confessed "the best city in the world" according to surveys of world travel companies.
