Past Simple

Past Simple (simple past) - Using Past Simple, we can convey events that took place in the past, and in some cases, events in the present.

In order to form the Past Simple, we add the ending -ed to the verb if the verb is correct (work - worked, learn - learned, ask - asked). If the verb is irregular, then we look for the form for Past Simple in the second column of the table of irregular verbs.
