Lesson objectives:	All learners will be able to: pronounce the sound /tꭍ/ on its own and in words. Usу basic words and phrases

ORGANISATION MOMENT:

Teacher greets students and asks about their mood.

Warming up

To have a snowball fight in the classroom, simply give each student a piece of paper and ask translate the words (Playground, Sport fields, Art room , Computer room,Gym)

,have students crumple the paper up, and then throw it at each other.

Pupils respond to greeting.

Pupils listen to the teacher and translate the words

MAIN PART

Tell children that they will be looking at the letters ch that represent the sound /tꭍ/. Write ch on the board in large letters. Model the sound for children to repeat.

Pupils repeat the words with sound “Ch”

Flash cards

Hold up phonics cards 4-6, saying the words for the class to repeat. Repeat in a different order.

Ex1. Ask children to look at the words that contain the letters ch. Play the first part of the recording for children to listen and point to the pictures.

Ex 2. Play the recording for children to listen to the chant.
Tell children they are chicks. Every time they hear a /tꭍ/ sound, they must flap their wings. Play the chant again.

Task 1. Listen and choose the correct sound
