Entry 1

Listening task.

The theme: Wild animals

  1. Pre- listening task.

Outcomes:

  • to teach pupils about wild animals in English

  • to work with worksheets

  • to use the new words about wild animals.

Show the flashcards about wild animals

2.While- listening task. Ask pupils try to repeat words from the given song.

The song.

Cat, dog, bird, fish, duck, chicken, rooster, turkey,

cow, sheep, pig, horse, lion, tiger, elephant,

gorilla, giraffe, zebra, monkey, rhino, bear, deer,

hippo, kangaroo, parrot, owl, eagle, seagull, pigeon,

squirrel, camel, donkey, whale, shark, dolphin,

penguin, spider, snake, crocodile, animals,

animals, animals.

3. Post-listening task.

Listen, draw and check

Materials: sheets of papers, colored pencils

Before class

Give pupils sheets of paper. They should draw the pictures about parts of wild animals which is said by teacher.

In class

1. Pupil should draw the picture which is said by teacher. e.g. Tiger.

2 the pupils come to the blackboard turn by turn and show own picture.

3 they will fix their knowledge about parts of wild animals.

Instructions

Give some pictures about wild animals: lion, tiger, elephant, gorilla, giraffe, zebra, monkey, rhino, bear, deer, hippo, kangaroo.

Entry 2

  1. Pre-speaking task:

The theme: Wild animals

Ask pupils to pay attention to the pictures on the blackboard. Teacher show the cards about the wild animals. The pupils will repeat after teacher.



  1. While-speaking task: listen, learn and remember. Pupils watch and repeat the new words of the lesson. Pupils should remember the wild animals during the lesson and fix their education.



Lion -sher, tiger-yo’lbars, elephant -fil, gorilla -gorilla,

giraffe -jirafa, zebra -zebra, monkey -maymun, bear -ayiq,

deer -kiyik, hippo -gipopatamus, kangaroo – kanguru.



  1. Post-speaking task. Play the game “A ball”. Teacher will show wild animals and throw a ball to the pupil. Each pupil should say the wild animals’ name.











Entry 3

1. Listening skills

Instructions: teacher says the pupils to repeat after teacher. It helps to improve pupils listening skills.




2. Speaking skills

Instructions: teacher shows the picture of wild animals. Pupils should describe the picture orally. Through this method pupils improve their speaking skills. When did they meet friends how to ask their friends’ condition?


3.Drawing skills

Instructions: teacher says the words and the pupils should draw it.

1.Greeting.

Teacher: Good morning, children!

Pupils: Good morning, good morning

Good morning dear teacher,

We are glad to see you.

Teacher: I am glad to see you too, sit down please. Let’s begin our lesson.

2. Checking the home work.

Teacher checks up pupils’ vocabulary.

Objectives: to check pupils’ knowledge of previous material about food.





3. Warming up. Activity with pictures.

Objectives: to warm up; to revise vocabulary from the previous lesson. And pupils review the previous poem.

Eat Them Everyday

(to the tune of "Row Row Row Your Boat")

Milk, milk, eggs and cheese
Fruits and vegetables
Meat and breads and cereals
Eat them everyday.

4. Explaining a new theme.

So, my dear pupils. Today’s our theme is “Wild animals”. In this theme we can see and learn about wild animals.

For example: lion, tiger, elephant, gorilla, giraffe, zebra, monkey, rhino, bear, deer, hippo, kangaroo.

And wild animals colours often will grey, orange.

Teacher: Is it right?

Pupils: Yes, it is.

Pupils work in two groups. One group say the grey colour animals. Second group say about orange colour animals.

First group’s animals are:

6. Assign Homework: Draw and paint the wild animals

7. Marking: Putting marks to pupils

8. Ending of the lesson: Say “Good bye”
