Aims: 1) To check pupils knowledge from English, Kazakh and Russian through        

playing games, doing different tasks.

2) To develop pupils reading, speaking and thinking abilities and inlarge

their vocabulary

   3) To bring up the pupils the lovers of language of English and teach to be

attentive and curiosity.

Good morning, dear teachers, pupils and quests. We are glad to see you here! As you know this week is week of language. You are welcome to our party “Who is the best?” And now I want to invite our participants. They are pupils in our school. But first I want to introduce you with our jury. They are teachers of our school:  G.Musirova, Zh.Audanova.

Good morning, dear teachers, pupils and quests. We are glad to see you here! As you know this week is week of language. You are welcome to our party “Who is the best?” And now I want to invite our participants. They are pupils in our school. But first I want to introduce you with our jury. They are teachers of our school: G.Musirova, Zh.Audanova.

Now I will introduce you with the process of the game.

Our game consist of 6 stages:

  1. Introduction

  2. Warm up

  3. What is weather like?

  4. What time is it?

  5. Riddles

  6. Poster

1. And now let’s begin our competition. Our first stage is “Introduction”. The participants, please introduce yourselves.

P1: Our team is called “Friend”

Our motto: A friend in need is a friend in deed.

P2: Our team is called “Sun”

Our motto: Science is sea, knowledge is ship

So the first level of our competition is over. I want jury to tell us the marks.

2. Warm up

Before start our competition, let’s sing a song in English “Head, shoulders, knees and toes”

3. The next competition is called “What is the weather like?”

Look at the blackboard. You can see some pictures and you must answer to them.

“What is the weather like?”

It’s sunny and hot It’s windy

It’s rainy It’s cloudy and sunny

Our second competition is over.

I want jury to tell us the marks.

4. Our next competition is called “What time is it?”

It’s three o’clockIt’s one o’clock It’s twenty five past six

It’s half past one It’s quarter past two It’s quarter to eight



5. Our next level are “Riddles”

I will give you some riddles and will try to guess them. Then you must translate these words into Kazakh and Russian. If you give use the correct answer in three languages you will get 5 points.

They are big. They have little ears. What are they? They are hippos.

They are long. They have big mouths. What are they? They are crocodiles.

They are brown. They have long legs. What are they? They are camels.

They are big. They have long tails. What are they? They are lions.

They are big. They have long noses. What are they? They are elephants.

They are little.They have long tails. They eat bananas. What are they?

They are monkeys.

I want jury to tell us the marks.

6. Our sixth level is called “Poster”

I give you some sentences. You must read and draw.

Now I think it is time to give a word to our judges.

Our congratulations to you!

Awarding with the certificate of our pupils.
