Grade: 5 “b”

Theme: “What are you going to do?”

Aims: 1. Сформировать грамматические навыки: употребление структуры to be going to в предложениях;

2. Развивать произносительные навыки употребления структуры to be going to;

3.  активизировать и совершенствовать актуальный словарный запас обучающихся;

4. развивать навыки диалогической речи;

5. практиковать учащихся в говорении и чтении;

6. активизировать познавательную инициативу обучающихся и воспитывать интерес к стране изучаемого языка.

Procedure:

I. Introduction:

1.Greating/ date /attendance.

- How do you do, kids?

-How do you do!

- I hope you are well, kids?

- We hope you are too. Thank you. Sit down, please.

The theme of our lesson is “What are you going to do?”

We use going to + verb if we want to talk about our plans and intentions.

II.Warm - up.

1. A basket of wishes.

Let’s begin our lesson with wishes. Look at the blackboard. This is an empty basket. Let’s fill in this empty basket with our wishes

- I wish you stable knowledge, flowers, success and joy.

-What would you like to wish each other? (Good luck, happiness, good marks, money, love, healthy, kindness, friendship, peace and friendship, smiles, flowers).

- Look at our basket. How beautiful it is! It is full of roses and your wishes.

2) Phonetic drill

Look at the blackboard and read the poem.

I am going to play

After lessons today.

My friend likes to read,

So she is going to sit

IV. Practice.

1. Practicing in reading of the poem “I am going to play”

2. The formation of the construction “to be going to”

3. Writing practice: matching phrases with pictures.

4. Making up sentences according to the model.

V. Production.

1) Compete the table using the construction “going to”. ex.2 p.104.

Example: I am going to look at the wale.

2) Put the words in the right order and make sentences. ex.3 p.105

Example: going/take/we’re/photos/to/some

We’re going to take some photos.

3) Role play. If you have time, imagine you’re at the café and act short conversation ex.4 p.105
