The aims of the lesson: The development of comprehensive skills

to the theme "Famous people"

The tasks:

  Pupils will be able to:

  • to comprehend the text;
  • to comprehend new words;
  • to do the after listening task;
  • to make a dialogue to the theme;

The methods of teaching: speaking, translate, listening.

The equipment of the lesson: board, books, record, pictures.

The procedure of the lesson

  1.   Organization moment:
  1. Greeting

Good morning, boys and girls! Sit down, please!

  1. Conversation with the students

I’m going to ask you some questions

Is anybody absent today?

Who is it?

What is the temperature today?

What is the weather like today?

What date is it today?

What day of the week is it today?

So what season is it now?

Are you going to put on a jacket?

Are you going to wear a  cap or a hat?

  1. Revision words (3-5 min)

I call the word, and you say the translation of this word

Sweater

  1. Presentation of the new material

Do you know famous people?
