1. Приветствие.
Teacher: Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you. How are you today?
2. Фонетическаязарядка
Please look at the blackboard. You can see a short poem here. Your task is to complete the sentences choosing the word from the list of the countries.
(На доске – список стран: 1. Portugal, 2. Japan, 3. Spain, 4. Russia, 5. China, 6. Germany, 7. Hungary, 8. Greece, 9.Egypt, 10. Italy, 11. Australia, 12. Finland, 13. France, 14. India. Учащиеся заканчивают предложения, подбирая рифму - название страны)

3. Введение в тему урока.
Учащимся демонстрируется картинка с изображением земного шара и людей разных национальностей
Teacher: What are we going to speak about at our today’s lesson? What do you think?
Children: We’ll speak about countries, people of different nationalities who live on our planet.
4. Совершенствование умений диалогической речи. Знакомство с участниками финала международного конкурса подростков. У каждого ученика на столе табличка с изображением флага страны, названием страны и именем. Каждый из участников рассказывается о себе сам, дети знакомятся друг с другом в парах или тройках.
Teacher: And now let’s imagine that you are the winners of the International teenagers’ competition. What is its name? («We live on the same planet»). All of you have come from different countries but you can speak English. So, let’s say hello to each other. Please don’t forget to say what your country is famous for.
And now work in pairs. Imagine that you meet each other for the first time. Make up a dialogue . Use the dialogue in ex 1 p/ 34 as a model.

5. Совершенствованиеуменийаудирования.
Teacher: Teenagers from different countries take part in our conference. Listen to the participants and guess what countries they are from.
Учащиеся выполняют упр. 9 на стр.36 учебника, прослушивая участников конференции, определяют, из каких стран они приехали, аргументируют свои ответы.
6. Контроль употребления артикля с географическими названиями . Тест (ответы учащиеся заносят в таблицу, затем осуществляют взаимопроверку).
