a)Children are given pictures with sports.They listen to the teacher and raise the picture
a. This is an outdoor sport for two teams of eleven players. You need a ball, two goals and referee. /football/ b. This is an indoor game for two players. You need a special table, a racket for each player and a small, white ball made of plastic. /tennis/ c. This is an indoor sport for two teams. You need an orange ball and referee./basketball/ d. This is winter sport. You need gloves, special glasses and a ski. /hockey/ e. This is a water based sport. You need a swimming pool./swimming/
b) -OK, and now can you show me these sports? And now look at each other and say which sport it is.

Pupils listen to the text,then they read and translate the whole text and answer the questions
