Конспект открытого урока по английскому языку:

« Sport in my life»

Цель урока:

Обобщение и систематизация знаний по теме «Спорт».

Задачи урока:

Образовательные:  

тренировать и закреплять в речи учащихся лексические единицы по теме;

познакомить учащихся с историей олимпийских игр

формировать речевые навыки, обеспечивающие познавательно-коммуникативные потребности учащихся;

использовать новые слова по теме в устной речирасширять словарный запас учащихся.

Развивающие:

развивать языковые способности и устойчивый интерес к изучению английского языка;

расширять кругозор обучающихся при помощи мультимедийных средств, информации из Интернета;

развивать практические умения  работать в группе

Воспитательные:  

способствовать воспитанию толерантного отношения к спорту,

способствовать воспитанию сотрудничества при коллективной работе;

способствовать обогащению внутреннего мира учащихся.

Актуальность и целесообразность использования медиапродукта:

интенсификация учебно-воспитательного процесса (увеличение количества предлагаемой информации, эффективность выполнения упражнений увеличивается в несколько раз)

повышение эффективности усвоения учебного материала за счет одновременного изложения учителем необходимых сведений и показа демонстрационных фрагментов (подача материала двумя способами: аудиально и визуально);

Форма обучения направлена  на практическую подготовленность учащихся: владение английским языком  в речи.

Развитие компетентностей:

готовность к самообразованию;

информационная;

коммуникативная.

Необходимое оборудование и материалы для занятия – операционная среда – Microsoft Windows XP,  проектор, карточки на каждого ученика для групповой работы и чтения.

Ход урока

Организационный момент.  Приветствие.

- Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see you. Welcome to English lesson! How are you today?

- Fine, thanks.

- Sit down, please. I’m fine too. If you are ready, let’s begin our lesson.

Фонетическая зарядка: Lets begin our lesson from the meeting with new patter. What sound can you see on the blackboard? [b] That’s wright! Lets listen the patter with this sound (аудио).Lets repeat it together. Repeat it by your own. (опросить примерно 3 учеников)

Betty Botter bought some butter
But she said the butter's bitter,
"If I put it in my batter
It will make my batter bitter,
But a bit of better butter
Will make my batter better."

So she bought some better butter
Better than the bitter butter,
And she put it in her batter
And her batter was not bitter,
So 'twas better Betty Botter
Bought a bit of better butter.

Мотивация. Объявление темы урока.

Today we are going to have a very interesting lesson - game. Teams must do exercises and answer my questions. For every right answer you will get the same points in the end of the lesson we will count your points and choose the winner. You divided in to four teams and chose captain.

We begin our work at the theme “Sport in our life”. Today we’ll learn new material, speak about sport in your life and find out new information.

- Thousands years ago ancient Greeks said: “A sound mind is in a sound body.” Millions of people who go in for sports know from their own experience that this famous saying is true.

At the same time a great number of people don’t go in for sports. Some of them realize that sport is useful but prefer watching sport on TV to going in for it themselves.

Now I’d like to ask you some questions about sport and sport activities.

Do you take enough exercise? What exercise? How often do you go to the stadium? to the swimming pool?

What is your favourite pastime? Have you ever tried to do mountain climbing? When was it? Do you like playing football? Are you a member of the school team? Do you support your school team when they play?

Do you go in for sport? What sport? Does it thrill you to watch motor races? horse races? Do you have any favourite sportsmen or sportswomen?

Why is it necessary for teenagers to go in for sport?

1) Now take the paper with ex 3 1. Listen and say which facts are true false or not stated.:

1. The speaker likes only skating. F

2. The skater can’t forget his first skating rink. T

3. The speaker used to live in the north of Europe. T

4. The speaker lived in Florida for 15 years. NS

5.The speaker likes skating even more that he lives in Canada.T

Now give it to me and in the end of the lesson I will tell you your results? For every right answer your teams will get a point.

And now I will ask you 12 questions you must answer to it faster than another teams. I will ask you if your hand is in the air.

  1. What traditional Russian games do you know?
  2. What sports and games are most popular in Russia now?
  3. What sports are new or uncommon in this country?
  4. What summer and winter sports do you know?
  5. What sports would you enjoy most? Why?
  6. What famous Russian and foreign athletes do you know? In
    what sports did they become famous?
  7. What sports are the most dangerous and the least dangerous?
  8. What water sports do you know?
  1. What team games do teenagers1 usually play in Russian
    schools?
  2. Why is it necessary for teenagers to go in for sport?
  1. Are there enough stadiums, gyms and swimming baths in the
    place where you live?
  2. What can local and national governments do to make sport 4
    more popular?

3) Динамическая пауза

Stand up please and do some physical exercises. Let’s listen to the song “ Put you finger on your nose “and do exercises. Repeat after me.

4) Now let’s watch a little film about ancient Olympic games.

Please answer my questions:

When did the first O.G appear?

Where did it appear?

Did women take part there?

How many competitions were there?

How many countries did take part there?

5) Look at the screen. Try to guess what kind of sports it is.

– the sport of fighting in gloves (boxing)
– a game played on the field with a round ball. Two teams of 11 players kick it (football)
– it is the cheapest but very healthy form of sports. It’s a slow run for exercise (jogging)
– a game played on a court with a large orange ball. There are five players on each team (basketball)
– the sport of going on horseback (horseracing)
– it is a way of traveling or going on foot (walking)

6) Now look at the screen. There you can see transcriptions you must tell me its words, for every right word your team will get a point.
